Kristen Doute may have just given fans their first close-up look at Brittany Cartwright’s new boyfriend.
“The Valley” star reposted a photo to her Instagram story on Aug. 27 that showed her and fiancé Luke Broderick dining alongside Cartwright and a man identified as Brandon Hanson.
Also in attendance at the intimate dinner was fellow Bravo star Steven Mcbee of “The Mcbee Dynasty.”

Kristen Doute Soft-Launches Brittany Cartwright’s New Relationship
The casual snapshot quickly made waves, as it came only days after Cartwright confirmed on her podcast, “When Reality Hits with Brittany Cartwright,” that she had started seeing someone new.
“Not going to go too much into that yet, but you’ll probably hear more about him soon,” Cartwright teased during her Aug. 23 episode. “But yeah, it’s all good things. I’m just feeling really happy. I can’t stop smiling. I’ve been feeling really, really good lately.”
Doute, who has remained a close friend and confidante, praised Hanson in an interview with People. “She’s dated people during her single years since her ex-husband, and I have not approved of them. They’ve been fine, but not wonderful. This person is very wonderful and very cool. Very family-feeling.”

Brandon Hanson, who has largely kept a private life, reportedly connected with Cartwright as both were navigating divorces. A source told People, “Like Brittany, he is going through a divorce, and he and his ex have been separated for the past seven months. They reconnected well after he had already been separated.”
The insider added, “The two have found comfort in each other as they’ve been navigating their respective divorces and personal life changes.”
Cartwright, who shares 4-year-old son Cruz Michael Cauchi with ex Jax Taylor, announced their split in February 2024. She filed for divorce in August of that year, and much of the breakup was documented on Bravo’s “The Valley.”
While she briefly dated here and there, Cartwright admitted to People, “I deserve to have butterflies again. I just want somebody to be nice to me, and that’s sad. I just really want somebody to take me on dates. It doesn’t even have to be anything fancy. Something sweet, something small, will make my day.”
Brittany Cartwright’s New Chapter
The Instagram “soft launch” marks Cartwright’s first public relationship since her split from Taylor, her former “Vanderpump Rules” co-star whom she married in 2019.
With encouragement from her best friend Doute, Cartwright seems ready to embrace this new romance and chapter of her life. On her podcast, she shared that she feels her “sparkle” has returned, saying, “My sparkle is coming back. It’s like eight out of 10. I’m in a much better place than I was last summer. It’s time for new beginnings.”
From the looks of it, both she and Hanson are embracing a fresh start—one built on mutual understanding, family values, and a lot of optimism.
