Brittany Cartwright had a reunion with Lisa Vanderpump—not long after talking about how she never hears from her.
The former “Vanderpump Rules” star, who is currently a cast member on “The Valley,” told fans on her “When Reality Hits” podcast that he ran into Vanderpump backstage at BravoCon in Las Vegas earlier this month. The former co-stars shared a hug and spoke for a moment, Cartwright shared.
” I was like, ‘How are you doing? It’s been so long,'” Cartwright said on the November 2025 podcast. “And she was so nice, and everything was good. And she was, you know, she told me I was a warrior and stuff. And that made me feel good, because I was like, ‘OK, so it was good.’ And it wasn’t weird. It wasn’t anything awkward like that. …But she obviously is aware of what’s going on in my life. But she was like, ‘I’m proud of what you’re doing.’ And stuff like that. So that was a good interaction.”
Cartwright, who left “Vanderpump Rules” after Season 8, noted that Vanderpump ‘s husband, Ken Todd, and one of their dogs were with her. She said both of her former SUR bosses were “so nice” when they saw her, but didn’t elaborate on her split from her husband, Jax Taylor.
“They were just like, wishing me the best,” she said. “But that was my first time seeing her in so, so, so long.”

BravoEarlier at BravoCon, Cartwright talked about how she hadn’t heard from Vanderpump in years. Speaking with Decider, she said Vanderpump didn’t invite her to a screening of the “Vanderpump Rules” revival.
“She has not invited me to anything,” Cartwright claimed. “She hasn’t checked on me since my divorce, since my son’s autism diagnosis, since anything. So I haven’t heard from her in ages. She likes who is bringing her money at the time. And it’s not currently me, so I don’t know. I just figured whenever me and Jax got divorced, I would at least hear something from her, so that’s kind of upsetting. I looked up to her, I thought she was an amazing person. But I haven’t heard anything from her in what, four years? Cruz is four years old. She’s never once [reached out].”

GettyIn 2020, soon after Cartwright and Taylor found out they were expecting a baby, they announced their joint exit from “Vanderpump Rules.” That’s when they seemingly lost touch with Vanderpump.
But Vanderpump told Us Weekly she did contact the couple after the birth of their son in April 2021. “I reached out to them,” Vanderpump told the outlet in 2022. “I’m sure they do [want to stay in touch], but I sent them a beautiful baby gift. [It was] hand-embroidered with the baby’s name on it.”
Vanderpump noted that she was “always there” for Cartwright and Taylor but had never been the one to initiate contact due to her busy schedule. “It was never me reaching out to them really,” she said. “Apart from when they had the baby, it was never me reaching out. I’m always there for them. If they need me, I’m always there.”
She repeated the sentiment in November 2025 after hearing that Cartwright had talked about her before she ran into her at BravoCon. “I saw Brittany the other day, and she said she never hears from me, but I have how many hundreds of people working for me?“ Vanderpump told Us Weekly. “I’ve been traveling between Vegas, here [Los Angeles], Arizona, London, and this and that, and the other. Call me. I’m always here.”
