Brittany Cartwright is entering a new chapter — and in the Season 3 premiere of “The Valley,” she makes it clear just how different her life looks now.
“It’s a brand new year and a brand new me,” Brittany says. “Things are so much better than the last time you saw me.”
From the start, her message feels confident and forward-looking — but as the episode unfolds, she makes it clear that not everything in her life is fully settled.
‘Proud of Myself’
Brittany highlights the independence she’s built, emphasizing how much has changed behind the scenes.
“I’m really damn proud of myself,” she says. “I’m paying for everything. I’m doing everything physically. I’m there for my son every single day.”
The moment underscores her shift into a more self-reliant role — one she clearly worked hard to build.
Her comments also highlight what this new phase actually requires: showing up daily, handling responsibilities on her own, and creating stability for her son.
A Fresh Start — With One Major Holdover
While Brittany embraces a “brand new” version of herself, one major piece of her past remains unresolved.
“It’s not always easy,” she admits. “Jax and I are still not divorced. He still hasn’t sent in all the paperwork.”
GettyThe update adds a layer of complexity to her story — even as she moves forward, she remains legally tied to Jax Taylor.
It’s a reminder that progress doesn’t always happen all at once — and that even major life changes can come with loose ends that take time to close.
Moving Forward on Her Own Terms
Despite that unresolved piece, Brittany makes her focus clear throughout the premiere: growth, accountability, and building something new.
Her reflections balance honesty and optimism — acknowledging that “it’s not always easy” while still taking pride in how far she’s come.
In a show driven by relationships, drama, and constant change, her update stands out for a different reason — it feels grounded, personal, and centered on real progress.
For Brittany, this season isn’t just about what’s next.
It’s about owning where she is right now — and recognizing everything it took to get there.

I am a girls girl, but i have to mention Brittany needs to take care of her health before getting involved with another man. I see red flags and too fast moving ahead. She is more over weight than last year. Her beautiful face has bloating and unflattering appearance. She’s laughing like in a manic state of excitement. Britt, take a step back from dating, eat healthy and have some dignity. I’m sorry to watch her over the top in excitement. Something feels off watching her laughing out of control.
