Calah Jackson has moved on to a new chapter after her time on “The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys” and the end of her three-year relationship with Steven McBee Jr.
Viewers watched Jackson and Steven Jr. navigate their on-again, off-again romance during season 2 of the Bravo hit. Their relationship eventually ended for good, and Jackson left Kansas City behind to start over in Dallas.
More than a year later, Jackson is giving fans a look at what her life is like today.
During an Instagram Story Q&A in August 2026, the social media influencer reflected on the different places she has called home.
“I was born in TX and raised in the Chicago area,” Jackson wrote. “I’ve also lived in Utah and Kansas City (lol).”
Jackson has since settled in Dallas, where she is focusing on her career, traveling and dating again.

Jackson confirmed during her August Instagram Q&A that she is currently single, although she has been dating.
Her social media also shows that she’s stayed busy since the season 2 finale of “The McBee Dynasty” aired in September 2025.
Jackson has documented trips to Italy, Chicago, Arkansas and Mexico. She has also continued working as a social media influencer, landing partnerships with clothing brands and attending events including the Toronto Film Festival.
Her new life follows a difficult end to her relationship with Steven Jr.
Steven Jr. confirmed during a July 10, 2025, appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that he didn’t expect the former couple to reconcile.
“I don’t think Calah and I are going to get back together. I think that door is closed,” Steven Jr. said.
The couple had spent much of their three-year relationship breaking up and reconciling. However, Steven Jr. said Jackson’s decision not to attend his brother Jesse McBee’s wedding marked the final end of their relationship.
“Calah and I have not spoken. Our relationship’s been over since she didn’t show up to the wedding,” Steven Jr. said during the season 3 premiere of “The McBee Dynasty.”

Jackson later shared her own account of the relationship after remaining largely quiet following season 2.
“I’ve stayed quiet on this topic for over a year since season 2 came out to focus on my healing and moving forward,” Jackson wrote on Instagram in April 2026. “But seeing everything come out now & the texts that were posted… What you’re seeing isn’t new behavior or circumstantial.”
Jackson claimed she experienced similar behavior during their relationship.
“It’s unfortunately who he is and a small glimpse into what I experienced over the course of our three-year relationship. My character was publicly torn apart, and false narratives were pushed about me,” she wrote.
Jackson said she initially chose not to publicly respond.
She “felt completely defeated” and added, “I’m not sharing this for sympathy. I’m sharing it because my truth deserves to be heard too.”
She also posted a series of alleged text messages between herself and Steven Jr. to her Instagram Story.
Steven McBee Jr. Said the Door With Calah Jackson ‘Closed Permanently’
Steven Jr. has also made it clear that the former couple has gone their separate ways.
“Calah and I do not have a relationship and that door has closed permanently,” he told Bravo Insider via email in August 2025.
“There’s just been so much that has happened between us and between her and my family where sometimes it’s better to start fresh with someone new than try to go back and work through the extremely tough situations and heal from them when there’s so much built up inside.”
Steven Jr. reiterated at BravoCon 2025 that their financial ties had also ended. He revealed that he was no longer paying for Jackson’s apartment or car after previously covering those expenses.
“Everything is 100 percent done and has been for a little bit now,” he said.
Despite their difficult breakup, Steven Jr. said he wished Jackson well.
“But I wish her nothing but the best. Obviously, I still care about her so much, and want nothing but the best for her,” he said.
