‘Summer House’ Star Carl Radke Shows Off New Non-Alcoholic Bar [VIDEO]

“Summer House” star Carl Radke is finally giving fans a glimpse into his new soft bar!

The reality TV star is opening a non-alcoholic bar and café in Brooklyn, New York, and dished to PEOPLE ahead of its Sept. 17 opening.

“Soft Bar is really about changing what going out can be,” Radke told the outlet. “We wanted to build a spot where the drinks are high-quality and intentionally crafted, the vibe feels good, and people can connect without alcohol. At the end of the day, it’s about bringing people together and celebrating great flavors.”

The Menu Has a Variety of Options

With premium “soft cocktails,” not “mocktails,” curated by Eleven Madison Park’s former head bartender Rich Millwater and sober-nutritionist Dr. Brooke Scheller, the menu promises functional ingredients with eye-catching presentation.

“It’s not, ‘Oh here’s a version of a margarita without tequila.’ Or some joke of an after-thought, like the term ‘mocktails’ implies,” Radke added. “These are drinks that are designed intentionally to give you the same kind of experience you would have at a really cool cocktail bar.”

The bar also offers non-alcoholic beers, wines, sparkling teas (including the Loverboy brand familiar to “Summer House” fans), coffee alternatives, adaptogen-infused brews, and healthy food pairings.

The reality TV star shared additional images on Thursday, August 28 to social media. Radke shared that the gorgeous bar is located at 200 Banker St. in Greenpoint. He added, “We can’t wait to welcome you all in.”

Radke Is Open About His Sobriety

Soft Bar isn’t just a business venture—it’s a deeply personal mission rooted in Radke’s sobriety journey. Having gotten sober in January 2021, he found a glaring absence of inclusive social venues that didn’t center on alcohol.

He added how he wants to break the stigma that is sometimes associated with individuals who do not drink.

“It can be hard, when you don’t drink alcohol, to navigate socializing at night without having a drink in your hand,” he noted. “But I want everybody to feel that they can walk into Soft Bar and feel empowered because they have something for themselves.”

He first teased the concept on “Summer House,” and despite some delays and skepticism, Radke has made it happen.

Radke welcomed his friends and family to the bar on Wednesday, August 27 for a soft opening.

“Summer House” star Kyle Cooke was in attendance and shared a sweet comment to his friend’s video.

“This place is absolutely stunning — congrats brother!” Cooke wrote.

Paige DeSorbo also weighed in and noted, “This is amazing congratulations!!!”
