Craig Conover hinted he has something big in the works, and it sounds like a dream project. On April 5, the “Southern Charm” star posted a lengthy slideshow to Instagram following a trip to Hollywood.
In one photo, Conover, 37, held up a serving bowl from the famous Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood. He also shared photos taken outside of a Paramount building, as well as signage from soundstages.
But what really stood out to fans was a short video of the Bravo TV star looking at a large display labeled Hallmark Media. He also shared a script with all of the pertinent information blacked out. All that could be seen was the words “Original screenplay by.”
“Head down, dreams loading,” Conover captioned the post.
Fans Hope Craig Conover is Working With Hallmark
Conover already has a busy career as an entrepreneur. He owns the Charleston, South Carolina franchise Sewing Down South and is a partner in several restaurants. Conover, who is a licensed lawyer, has been a mainstay on “Southern Charm” since its debut in 2014, and in late 2025, he announced the launch of his own production company.
Now, amid his latest photo dump, some fans are hoping the popular reality TV personality plans to add “actor” to his resume.
In the comment section, one fan asked, “Is someone going to be in a Hallmark Christmas movie?? 👀”
“@hallmarkchannel give the people what they want 😍 @caconover in a Christmas movieeeeee,” another added.
“Yes @hallmarkchannel we been begging!!! Please!!🙏,” a third fan agreed.
“Screenplay?! Are we about to see you in a Christmas jumper, owning a small sewing shop in a rural town. Your ex-girlfriend, who is a big city player, is visiting her hometown for the annual Christmas pillow competition…” another fan hoped.
Other fans told Conover they would be cheering him on no matter what he does next.
“That smile.. 😍 It’s all in the genes and how you show up in life!! So happy for your blessings @caconover – ✨🐰💐🐰✨I wish you nothing but the best in all you accomplish… ,” one commenter wrote.
Craig Conover Hinted He Might Not Return to ‘Southern Charm’
Conover has been on television for more than a decade, but while filming for the “Southern Charm” reunion, he hinted that his days on the long-running reality show could be ending. During an intense Season 11 reunion taping in February, Conover stormed off set as the cast broke for lunch.
“This sucks,” Conover said as he exited the stage.
“I hate being here. It’s just pile-on-Craig,” he said backstage. “I don’t even know if I’m coming back anymore,” he added.
The cast for the 12th season of “Southern Charm” has not been confirmed by Bravo.

Craig Conover I’ve been a fan of you since day 1 when the show started. I give you so much credit for turning your life around and you making yourself a self multi millionaire. A task that you made it look easy following your dreams. Eventhough your first girlfriend on the show thougt your sewing was a joke and she left you for a Dr in NY. And kicked herself in the ass for not sticking by your side. Which someday Paige and Charlie will both kick themselves in the asses.
