Craig Conover is adding a new layer to his growing lifestyle brand!
“The Southern Charm” star has officially expanded Sewing Down South with the launch of a candle collection, marking his latest move beyond pillows and home décor.
The 37-year-old entrepreneur announced the release on Thursday, Feb. 27, after teasing the drop across social media in the days leading up to it.
Conover shared a video where he described the collection showed the candle making process.
“Candles are my passion project,” he began.
He added, “There is just something about a candle that transforms a space into an experience. A scent can shift a mood. A flicker can soften a room. The right fragrance doesn’t just fill a space, it defines it.”
He noted how it was important to him that the candles be produced in Charleston.
Conover noted how it took many hours to get the fragrance perfect and the process took months of development.
4 Scents Are Available
Each candle is a 10-ounce soy blend and hand-poured.
Conover added that soy wax was picked because it burns cleaner, lasts longer, and allows for the fragrance to disperse more easily in a room.
“Strike the match, our all new Core Candles are officially live!” the brand shared when the candles became available. “Hand-poured, thoughtfully layered, and designed to fill your home with the kind of scent that lingers long after the flame goes out.”
The debut collection features four signature scents designed to capture different moods and spaces within the home.
Linen + Lowcountry is described as clean and coastal, opening with eucalyptus and orange peel before settling into tobacco and cedar for a warm, layered finish.
Honey + Home leans bright and welcoming, blending honeycomb, pomegranate, pomelo and currant for a lightly sweet scent ideal for kitchens or relaxed afternoons.
Apple + Oak offers a cozier profile, pairing crisp apple and clove with deep oak wood for a grounded, refined atmosphere.
Palmetto + Pine rounds out the lineup with green florals, fir needle and woodland pine, creating a fresh yet earthy aroma inspired by nature.
Sewing Down South Continues to Expand
The candle launch represents another evolution for Conover, who turned his passion for sewing into a full-scale retail brand.
Sewing Down South has steadily expanded in recent years, opening a flagship store in Charleston and broadening its product offerings.
Fans quickly flooded the comments section with excitement once the candles went live.
“Ordered mine today!” one fan wrote along with a fire emoji.
Others explained how happy they were for Conover and his new venture.
“Why am I getting teary eyed over a candle??? I think it’s the thoughtfulness and intention Craigy has behind his passion project! So excited to try them!” another wrote.
Very happy for Craig and his businesses. If Venita would stop her aggression against him and stirring up trouble, Craig would not say anything. But, he did keep saying leave me alone, but the clapping and hate did not stop there. No more drinking Craig, you’re too vulnerable when you drink.
