Denise Richards returned to BravoCon and shared an emotional update with fans as she works through her divorce. The 54-year-old former star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” appeared on the Bravo2Bravo panel on November 16 alongside Brittany Cartwright, Luann de Lesseps, and Kim Zolciak.
Richards is navigating her split from ex Aaron Phypers, who filed in July after six years of marriage. She told the audience she was doing “good” as she continues to move forward with the support around her.

Richards Opens Up About Tabloid Pressure & Life in the Public Eye
BravoDuring the panel, Richards also reflected on the challenges of fame and how it feels to have her life under constant public scrutiny. As per People, she admitted that “being in the tabloids” can be “very daunting.”
“When you first have to deal with it, it’s very hard. It’s different because on the reality shows, our personal life is out there,” Richards said. “In reality, you can’t pretend it’s not happening.”
Her honesty drew loud applause from the crowd, many of whom praised her strength during a difficult period.
Possible ‘RHOBH’ Return & Why She Still Loves the Cast
Richards made another appearance at BravoCon the day before, joining Kate Chastain and Jeff Lewis on the Live Stage. When asked if she would ever return to “RHOBH” full-time, she said she is open to it. “We’re talking about things,” she shared.
BravoThe actress has filmed scenes for season 15 and was spotted shooting with Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke in August. The season trailer confirms she will appear in at least one episode, where she will discuss her divorce.
A source close to production previously told People that Richards still has strong ties to the cast. “She’s tight with Sutton, has maintained a good relationship with Kyle and even mended fences with Erika recently,” the source said. “It made sense for her to come and film again and share her side of the story.”
Leaning on Friends & Staying Strong Through a Difficult Time
GettyThe same source said Richards has been leaning on close friends who understand the challenges of divorce. “In many ways, this brought them all closer,” the insider said, as reported by People. “The fans love seeing her, and hopefully it will open the door for more from her in the future.”
Richards and Phypers have continued making court appearances as the divorce moves forward. While she has not shared many details publicly, Richards acknowledged the emotional weight of the situation in an August Instagram video.
She told fans it had been a “very, very, very difficult time” and thanked them for the “kind, thoughtful, encouraging messages.” She added she would share more about her experience “one day … when the timing is right.”
Richards’ resilience, candor and return to BravoCon energized fans, many of whom expressed hope that she will continue sharing her journey both on and off screen.
