Former Bravo star Jax Taylor is making a big move out of the home he has lived in since late 2024.
“The Valley” alum broke a long social media silence on Feb. 17, posting to Instagram as he loaded a moving truck with the help of Roadway Moving.
The clip featured movers packing Taylor’s belongings with the reality TV alum helping out—most notably with the packing of his coveted sneaker collection. At one point, Taylor rolled up a poster from his “Vanderpump Rules” days.
At the end of the clip, Taylor gave a goodbye hug to his longtime friend and former co-star, Tom Schwartz.
“New chapter,” Taylor captioned the post. “Grateful to @roadwaymoving for making this move smooth and stress-free from start to finish. Here’s to new beginnings 😊🙏.”
Fans Speculated on Jax Taylor’s Move
On social media, fans congratulated Taylor on his new chapter, whatever it may be.
“All the best for your new start!! May health, happiness and peace be with you ❤️,” one fan wrote in the comment section of his post.
“Good for you Jax! Fresh start is a good place to be ❤️,” another chimed in.
“Goodluck @mrjaxtaylor in this new chapter routing for you & your boy & Britney that everything is going well as coparents. ❤️,” added another fan.
Other fans speculated on where Taylor may be moving to.
Some wondered if the reality TV alum was moving to Florida, which he has talked about in the past, while others guessed Michigan, which is Taylor’s home state. Others speculated that Taylor could simply be downsizing to a smaller place.
Jax Taylor Lived Next Door to Tom Schwartz Following His Split From Brittany Cartwright
Taylor previously shared a home in Valley Village, CA, with his wife, Brittany Cartwright, with whom he split in early 2024. The exes share a 4-year-old son, Cruz, who resides with Cartwright in the family home. Months after his split from Cartwright, Taylor moved into the townhouse rental in North Hollywood, located right next to Schwartz.
According to Homes of Celebs, Taylor was paying $5,600 per month for the three-story modern townhouse.
Speaking on his “When Reality Hits” podcast in 2024, Taylor clarified that he did not live with Schwartz, just next door to him.
“Everyone keeps saying, ‘Do I live with Tom Schwartz,’” he said. “I do not live with Tom Schwartz. He has a townhouse that is next to mine, but they are completely separate. We have our own building, but we do not live together.”
The single dad added that it was helpful to have a close friend nearby in case he ever needed help with anything. “At the end of the day, I need help with something, I need help with Cruz, he’s right there,” Taylor explained.
Of his rental, Taylor added, “[It’s] absolutely beautiful. Brand new, very secure, updated remodeled super safe for Cruz. I wanted something that would be very, very safe for Cruz. The building is absolutely beautiful.”
