Katie Maloney hosted a girls’ night pajama party for the holidays—and her guest list has fans wondering if a reality TV comeback is in her future. In late November 2025, the former “Vanderpump Rules” host hosted a gathering at her Los Angeles area apartment, and her guests included a few familiar faces from her VPR days—including on-and-off bestie Stassi Schroeder.
In photos and videos posted to her Instagram stories, Maloney, 39, posed with Schroeder and fellow former VPR star Dayna Kathan. Maloney’s mom, Teri, was also featured in a group shot. In one video, Schroeder was examining pink gift bags and packages as she decided which one to take.
“One of us takes white elephant more seriously than the rest,” pal Taylor Donahue captioned the clip.
Fans Reacted to the Guest List & What It Could Mean
Fans reacted to the 2025 party pics on social media, with some questioning why Ariana Madix wasn’t invited to Maloney’s party. Others noted that Madix was out of town, vacationing with her boyfriend, Daniel Wai.
Other fans speculated that Maloney was filming for Schroeder’s upcoming Hulu series, “Stassi Says.”
“Obviously filming for Stassi’s show?” one fan wrote.
“Definitely. That’s why the Taylors have been there for months,” added another.

In early November, TMZ reported that Maloney was spotted filming with Schroeder at The Belmont in West Hollywood. The news was suprising given that on the premiere episode of her ex-husband Tom Schwartz’s Detox Retox podcast in April, Maloney hinted that she was done with reality TV after 11 seasons on VPR.
“I’m so glad I’m not filming a TV show because I’m just thinking about their walk-ups that they’re doing, having the conversations that they don’t want to have … it can be really draining,” she said at the time. “It can also be the best f—ing time ever, but where I’m at right now, I’m really happy just getting to enjoy my life and the way I want to enjoy it.”
It’s Not a Big Surprise That Past VPR Cast Members Weren’t Invited to Katie’s Christmas Party

Two years later, none of the cast members from the final “OG” season of “Vanderpump Rules” appeared to make the cut.
Maloney has been vocal about how she cut ties with some of her former co-stars following a tumultuous final season of “Vanderpump Rules.” During an appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast in 2024, she hadn’t seen anyone from the cast since the explosive Season 11 reunion. “I don’t see anybody,” she said, adding, “I talk to Ariana all the time.”
