Lala Kent shared an update on her relationship with Scheana Shay and other former “Vanderpump Rules” cast members. The Bravo TV personality, who is a cast member on “The Valley,” appeared on the May 13 episode of “Watch What Happens Live,” where she confirmed she is still not on speaking terms with Shay after a falling out last year.
After host Andy Cohen said, “I can’t figure out what happened with you and Scheana. It seems like something like you won’t even discuss it … was it horrible?,” Kent replied, “She’s over there. I’m over here. She’s Bravo blogging. I’m here.”
Cohen then asked what would happen if Shay returned to the cast of “The Valley” next season.
“If she appeared, then we could duke it out,” Kent shared. “But she hasn’t appeared.”
Lala Kent and Scheana Shay Are Protecting Their Daughters’ Friendship
Kent and Shay became close friends after giving birth to daughters within a month of one another in 2021. They bought houses near each other and spent holidays together. But in 2025, they had a mysterious falling out that neither will talk about.
In November, Shay claimed on her “Scheananagins With Scheana Shay” podcast that the rift stemmed from Kent repeating something she told her in confidence about her husband, Brock Davies, but she did not go into detail.
In a January 2026 podcast episode, Shay said her daughter Summer is still friends with Kent’s daughter Ocean. “They see each other every day at school,” she shared. “I will not involve my kid in the drama. She’s not going to know that we’re not friends anymore. …With the Lala situation, we are cool and cordial at school. I saw her a few days ago. I said, ‘Hi, good morning.’ That’s pretty much it. Surface-level conversation.”
During an Amazon Live, Kent agreed. “They are cute little friends,” she said of the five-year-old besties. “They have a heyday at school, which I love because they’ve known each other literally since birth, and so that’s a friendship that needs to stay incubated and protected, you know, to the best of our ability.”

Elsewhere on WWHL, Kent confirmed she only speaks to Tom Schwartz, Brittany Carwtight, and Kristen Doute from the original “Vanderpump Rules” cast. (The four reality stars are currently all cast members on “The Valley.”)
Kent confirmed she hasn’t even spoken to her onetime bestie, James Kennedy, since the “Vanderpump Rules” Season 11 reunion taping more than two years ago. “I haven’t spoken to anybody since that reunion,” she said, adding that her relationship with Ariana Madix remained “non-existent.”
“Haven’t spoken with her since Vanderpump Rules,” she said.
During a November 2024 episode of Watch What Happens Live, Kent admitted she “burned a lot of bridges” while filming the “Vanderpump Rules” finale and reunion. Of Madix, she said, “We don’t speak,” but she noted she was happy for her former friend’s success on Broadway and as host of “Love Island USA.”
“She’s killing it, and I’m thrilled about it. And I mean it!” Kent said at the time.
