Lindsay Hubbard Shares New Details About ‘In the City’ & Admits It Even Surprised Her

Bravo fans will get to see “Summer House” stars Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, and Amanda Batula trade the Hamptons for city life as they offer a closer look at their real lives in the spinoff, “In the City.”

Alongside a new group of friends (including the return of Danielle Olivera and Andrea Denver), a trailer for “In the City” teases plenty of drama, including a deeper look at Cooke and Batula’s marriage struggles.

In a new interview, Hubbard admitted that she was “shocked” by just how “good” the new series turned out, crediting the cast for delivering drama-filled television.

On the red carpet of The Daily Front Row‘s 10th Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards in Beverly Hills, California, on April 14, Lindsay Hubbard promised that her new show, “In the City,” delivers big on drama and storylines.

“It gets crazier [than the trailer suggests], if you could imagine,” Hubbard told Us Weekly. “The new people are actually old people to me. A lot of them are my best friends for years and years.”

Hubbard said that she was “shocked” while filming the show, teasing that there was much more intensity to come than what’s shown in the season one sneak peek, making fans all the more excited to tune in.

“It’s very rare that I am shocked while filming a show, and I feel like in the middle of filming, I was like, ‘Oh, this is going to be a good show. [Expletive].’ I feel like we filmed it as if it was going to be, like, 25 episodes. There’s a lot of content,” she said.

During her interview with Us Weekly, Hubbard shed light on some of the new faces on the show, including “one of my best friends, Yvonne [Najor],” who she shared has “been in my life for many, many, many years, but you’re finally going to meet her and her husband, Nick [Barber].”

The reality TV star also mentioned newbie Georgina Ferzli, “who’s another best girlfriend of mine. She’s also a single mom … and I think you’re just gonna love everyone.”

In an April 7 Instagram post, Hubbard also told her followers to “strap in,” further implying that the series will be a good one.

“Taking a break from the #SummerHouse drama for a minute to share what the next chapter looks like with our friends #InTheCity 💃🏼,” she began.

“I remember literally thinking while filming in the fall, wow this is going to be a GREAT show! I know there are a lot of new people for you all to get to know, but damn did they bring it! I’m so excited for you to meet them, and I can’t wait to keep sharing my life with you. Strap in because the drama is only just heating up!” Hubbard’s captioned said.

Besides the castmates mentioned above, the new Bravo series will also star couple Whitney Fransway and Kenny Martin, Gavin Moseley, Katie Arundel, and returning “Summer House” stars Danielle Olivera with her boyfriend, Eoin Heavey, and Andrea Denver and his wife Lexi Sundin.

“In the City” premieres on Tuesday, May 19, on Bravo.
