As Jesse McBee married Alli Ventresca, the real drama unfolded a few miles away, when CFO Galyna Saltkovska was involved in a car accident, which led to her arrest. Now, producers are opening up about how they rushed to capture the chaos as it unfolded.
‘The McBee Dynasty’ Producers ‘Jumped in the Car’ to Capture Galyna Saltkovska’s Arrest
Galyna had agreed to a last-minute invitation to Jesse’s wedding but never showed, causing concern for the McBee family. Steven McBee Jr. finally got an unsettling call from her daughter, revealing Galyna had been in a car accident just miles away.
Kathleen French, Senior Vice President of Entertainment Unscripted Current Production at NBCUniversal, told Bravo’s The Daily Dish how producers jumped into action.
“We didn’t know either,” Kathleen admitted. “Producers jumped in the car. They drove over there… and they captured it all in real time — including her coming home that night.”
When producers located her vehicle, Galyna’s G-Wagon was already being hauled away. Police bodycam and production footage revealed Galyna telling officers she had a “nervous breakdown.” Though initially arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, she was ultimately cited for misdemeanor reckless driving.
Legal Fallout From Galyna’s Arrest
In court documents obtained by People, Saltkovska was arrested on October 19, 2024. (Jesse and Alli’s wedding day). She was originally charged with “failure to exercise the highest degree of care,” which was later reduced to a misdemeanor due to defective equipment.
Less than two weeks later, Galyna was arrested again, this time for trespassing at a residence she had been warned to stay away from. According to filings, she entered the home, shouted derogatory names, and made threats of “bodily harm and death.” After briefly injuring herself in the garage, she reportedly reentered the property.
Though names were redacted, the filings reference a past relationship with a cattle company executive — details that mirror Galyna’s history with Steven McBee, CEO of McBee Farm & Cattle Co. Her ties to Steven, along with her feud with his former partner Masha, have been a consistent flashpoint throughout season 2.
Looking back, French called the finale unforgettable: “I thought that the combination of this beautiful wedding — the first of the sons getting married, just how happy everyone was — intercut with the Galyna arrest was spectacular.”
