Bravo TV alum Paige DeSorbo is happy to be in a relationship that isn’t being documented on TV. In a recent interview, the former “Summer House” star told People magazine that she is in a new romance more than a year after splitting from her ex-boyfriend, “Southern Charm” star Craig Conover, and exiting reality TV.
“I’m seeing someone, and I have been for a little bit,” DeSorbo told the outlet. “It’s just been really nice to not have to talk about it on TV.”
DeSorbo’s relationship with Conover was heavily documented on “Summer House,” “Southern Charm,” and “Winter House.” During filming for “Winter House”, she became upset over her then-boyfriend’s behavior.
Paige DeSorbo Kept a Previous Relationship Off TV
NBCUniversalIn 2019, DeSorbo dated Perry Rahbar, but the relationship wasn’t shown on camera. Still, the “Summer House” star often shared details about her relationship woes with her co-stars.
DeSorbo told Us Weekly that it was Rahbar who wanted to keep their relationship off camera, but that she agreed with the decision.
“I think to bring your significant other on reality television with you, you have to really know that you guys are solid,” she shared. “Because the last thing I want is to bring someone on who is an extension of me and them embarrass me or anything. Like, I only want to be responsible for myself, so Perry not coming on, I actually liked that he didn’t want to be involved.”
“I didn’t want him coming to the house because I knew that our relationship — I wasn’t going to marry him,” she explained. “I knew that I wasn’t going to be with him long-term. And I didn’t want that to play out on television, like, I just really didn’t.”
Paige DeSorbo Said Her New Relationship Is ‘Relaxing’
BravoDeSorbo’s new romance is with Klutch Sports Group vice president Joe D’Amelio. After nearly three years with Conover, she told Us Weekly her relationship is “fun” and “relaxing.”
DeSorbo noted that her new man is “quiet.” She added, “I appreciate that.”
“Like, they know when to speak and when not to, and I like that,” the former “Summer House” star explained. “That’s important. It’s important [for] a man to know when to shut it.”
Conover has not commented on DeSorbo’s new comments about dating on TV. During the 11th season of “Southern Charm,” he pursued co-star Charley Manley, but it didn’t work out.
Of DeSorbo, Conover told the “Tamron Hall Show,” “At the end of the day… I wasn’t the right person for her. I think that’s OK. If someone’s not right for you, you only live once. Go find your person.”
Stop giving info how you did not like Craig personality . You’re so controlling of your boyfriend’s noise, some day he will figure it out. If you have nothing nice to say about Craig, please shut your trap. Your repeating yourself.
