Salley Carson admitted that she could see herself in a serious relationship with one of her “Southern Charm” co-stars—someday.
The Bravo TV personality has pursued both Craig Conover and Austen Kroll on the hit reality show this season, but in a new interview, she admitted she only sees one of them as a potential mate.
“Austen knows everything I do,” Carson told Elite Daily in a February 2026 interview. “Me and him are very alike… We’re not together, so we tell each other everything. I don’t want to hide anything from him.”
“I think we’re very attracted to each other,” she added. “I think we’re just treading lightly, because I do believe if me and Austen were to get together, it could be end game.”
“I’m not dating to play anymore. I want to date to marry,” Carson also revealed.
Sally Carson Thinks She Could Have a Relationship With Austen Kroll in the Future
BravoCarson has made her attraction to Kroll known, and she did not hide her joy when he ended his relationship with Audrey Pratt, his girlfriend of nearly two years, during filming last summer.
Speaking on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast in February, Carson admitted there was “a little messing around” with Kroll once he was single. But she added, “I don’t really think we’re ready for each other right now. It could be something in the future. I do think that.”
“If I got a boyfriend, I think he’d be annoyed and if he got a girlfriend, I’d be annoyed,” she further clarified, adding that she was “making a smart decision by keeping it as friends” for now.
Salley Carson Said She Has No Chemistry With Craig Conover

Carson’s Season 11 storyline showed her getting flirty with co-star Craig Conover and telling him she was “catching feelings” for him. Conover didn’t feel the same and began pursuing her friend, Charley Manley.
But during an appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live”, Carson admitted she’s always been more interested in Kroll. “Craig’s never been on my radar,” she shared in January. “Austen’s always been on my radar.”
Elaborating to Elite Daily, Carson said she felt that Conover “did lead [her] on a little bit,” but added, “I don’t love how obsessed I looked with Craig because it was never like that. We were very much going down a path of friendship.”
“I’m so sorry, but I’m never going to be obsessed with the guy I’ve never kissed before, and I never even felt sexual chemistry between him and me,” she explained. “I never looked at him and was like, ‘I want to jump into bed with him.’ He was single and hot. I’m a single girl, he’s a single guy. We were out together every night. I’m hanging out with a guy like this — feelings are bound to be involved. [But] I … think it’s portrayed as a way bigger feeling than I ever had.”
Carson also shared that, given her past broken engagement, she knows that she goes for “the wrong guys.”
“It’s like you can predict the outcome,” the “Southern Charm” star revealed. “I’m going to go for this guy because I already know he’s a [expletive] boy and he’s going to hurt me.”
