Salley Carson celebrated her 31st birthday with her “Southern Charm” co-stars—minus one. On Jan. 22, the South Carolina-based Bravo TV star posted a slideshow to Instagram as she partied with co-stars Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, Madison LeCroy, Rodrigo Reyes, Charley Manley, Venita Aspen, Whitner Slagsvol, Molly O’Connell, and Whitney Sudler-Smith.
“Look at us getting along for my 31st bday!!” Carson captioned the photos.
Fans hit the comments section to question why a key co-star was missing.
“Where’s Craig?” one fan wrote, referring to veteran cast member Craig Conover.
“He was invited!! He was unfortunately out of town,” Carson replied.
Conover is currently on the road promoting his lifestyle brand Sewing Down South. He posted photos to his Instagram stories from New York City as well as from the Indianapolis Home Show on the same day that Carson posted her party photos.
Fans Think Salley Carson Is Dating Austen Kroll
In one of the photos, Carson posed at Halls Chophouse in Charleston, South Carolina, with Kroll, Rose, Reyes, and LeCroy. Many fans noted that Carson was sitting close to Kroll, and it appeared she had her hand resting on his leg.
“Ur hand on Austin’s leg SCANDALOUS,” one commenter wrote.
“Sally and Austin sure look like they’re dating!!” another agreed.
Carson has not hidden her attraction to Kroll. She even spoke about it while he was dating his now ex, Audrey Pratt, during filming for Season 11 last summer.
During a Jan. 7 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Carson admitted she’s always been interested in Kroll. “Austen’s always been on my radar,” she admitted.
“Y’all thought I was thirsty for Craig,” she added. “Y’all just wait. I mean, y’all think I’m going after Craig. Like, y’all just wait because you’ll see me going after someone.”
Salley Carson & Craig Conover Remain Friendly Following Filming for ‘Southern Charm’
BravoCarson was flirtatious with Conover early in the season, but he told her she just wanted to be friends, which hurt her feelings.
During her WWHL appearance, Carson confirmed nothing ever happened romantically with Conover, even when they hung out in his hot tub until 4 a.m. one night. “Craig never gave those vibes to like make a move on,” the “Southern Charm” star shared.
In December, Conover told Andy Cohen’s Sirius XM show “Andy Cohen Live” that things are fine between him and Carson—just platonic.
“Salley’s wonderful. She’s just — I’ve always just seen her as like a friend and a sister,” the “Southern Charm” star said.
