TikTok star Alix Earle gained a huge new following when she competed on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34. Though her career felt stronger than ever, she and her then-boyfriend Braxton Berrios began to feel the cracks in their relationship.
In December 2025, the couple confirmed their split. Four months later, Alix confirmed she was reentering the dating pool.
See what Alix Earle shared with the public about her first big date following her tearful breakup.
Alix Earle Had Serious First Date Jitters
Although Braxton Berrios and Alix Earle seem to be on amicable terms, their breakup certainly came with difficult emotions. The “DWTS” alum confirmed their split in a tearful announcement. It seemed that long-distance played a large role, but Alix still considers Braxton to be a very close friend.
Now, she’s giving dating another try. The 25-year-old posted on TikTok ahead of her first date with someone new, noting that she felt “scared.”
“I’m not quite sure how to feel,” Alix shared with her audience as she applied her makeup in a “get ready with me” style video. She added that her date suggested they walk along the beach and get something to eat. While she wasn’t nervous about making conversation with the new suitor, Alix admitted she was struggling to pick the perfect outfit for the date.
“I don’t know what I’m scared for,” the “DWTS” runner-up continued. “Just like, a nervous feeling in my stomach.”
The influencer added that she refused to meet anyone on dating apps, but this new person slid into her DMs online. They discussed skincare, which really caught Alix’s attention.
She seemed hopeful for the date, but admitted she was still struggling with difficult feelings four months after her split from Braxton.
Fans Want the Influencer as the Next “Bachelorette” Star
If things don’t pan out with the new suitor, Alix Earle’s fans have something different in mind for her.
Amid the Taylor Frankie Paul controversy, there’s been a lot of discussion on how “The Bachelorette” will move forward. Fans have suggested several names to be the next season lead, including Alix.
However, it doesn’t seem the 25-year-old has much interest.
“You know, I wouldn’t. I don’t think that’s my thing,” Alix told Jenna Bush Hager on the possibility of joining Bachelor Nation. “I love watching them, though.”
Although the fate of “The Bachelorette” is still up in the air, fans can expect to see “Dancing With the Stars” on ABC this fall.
