What To Expect In Next DWTS Episode

ABC unveiled the dance styles and songs fans can expect to see in “Dancing With the Stars,” next episode “One-Hit Wonders Night” airing September 23.

“One-Hit Wonders Night” kicks off the series themed episodes for season 34, featuring songs from artists known for a single “unforgettable hit,” ABC Entertainment said in a press release September 17.

September 23rd’s episode will kick off at 8:00 p.m. EST with an opening number to “Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)” by C+C Music Factory, featuring Freedom Williams.

Jen Affleck, known for her appearance on “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” and her dance partner Jan Ravnik will perform a Quickstep to “Take On Me,” the 1985 hit by A-ha.

Affleck’s “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” co-star Whitney Leavitt will dance a Cha Cha to “Play That Funky Music” by Wild Cherry, with dancer Mark Ballas, who won DWTS season 31 alongside his partner, TikTok sensation Charli D’Amelio.


Details Released For Performances by Influencers & Athletes

Social media influencer Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy are set to perform a Jive to “Mambo No. 5” by Lou Bega. Wellness influencer Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko are performing a Tango to “What Is Love” by Haddaway.

Athletes Jordan Chiles, an Olympic gold medalist and NBA star Baron Davis will perform a Jive and Samba respectively. Chiles and Ezra Sosa are set to dance the Jive to “Maniac” by Michael Sembello, a song known for its inclusion in the 1983 film “Flashdance.”

Davis will dance the Samba to “Return of the Mack” by Mark Morrison on September 23 with his partner Britt Stewart, a dancer who met her husband on the shows 31st season.

Dylan Efron, reality TV star and brother of “High School Musical” star Zac Efron will dance alongside Daniella Karagach to “Macarena (Bayside Boys Remix)” by Los del Río, performing a Samba.


Corey Feldman Dance Revealed After Facing Low Scores

Star of the iconic 1980s movies “Stand by Me” and “The Goonies” Corey Feldman will dance a Cha Cha to “Baby Got Back” by Sir Mix-A-Lot, with Jenna Johnson, winner of DWTS season 33.

Feldman scored the lowest in the season’s premiere alongside contestant Andy Richter, causing fans to rally support for Feldman on DWTS judge Derek Hough’s Instagram.

“Can’t believe you gave Corey a 4…. he was my favorite performance of the night…and we can’t even vote for him in mountain time anymore. Devastated!!!!!,” a user wrote.

Fan support continued on Feldman’s Instagram, with one user saying they “can’t wait” to see him perform next week.

Actresses Danielle Fishel, known for her role as Topanga on “Boy Meets World” will perform a Cha Cha to “Rhythm of the Night” by Corona and Elaine Hendrix from “The Parent Trap” will dance a Jive to Toni Basil’s “Hey Mickey.”

Robert Irwin, a wildlife conservationist whose sister Bindi also competed on DWTS, is set to dance a Tango with partner Witney Carson to Junior Senior’s “Move Your Feet.”

Musicians Scott Hoying, from Pentatonix, and Fifth Harmony singer Lauren Jauregui will perform a Cha Cha to “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” by Eiffel 65 and a Foxtrot to “Lovefool” by The Cardigans, respectively.

Lastly, comedian Andy Richter will dance a Tango to “It’s Raining Men” by The Weather Girls.

In the next episode, the contestants face double elimination as no one was eliminated during the season premiere.

Two couples will depart from the ballroom, with judges scores and viewer votes from both week one and two being factored into the outcome.
