The contestants will be announced on “Good Morning America” at 7 a.m. ET on ABC. “Dancing with the Stars” will officially start on September 16.
Ahead of the announcement, there has been a lot of speculation about who will be competing this season. To generate excitement, the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account has been sharing photos of the contestants, but with only parts of their bodies visible and their faces either being cut off in the images or hidden by a large mirrorball.
Fans have shared their thoughts in the comments, with suggestions including, “THE MIDDLE ONE HAS TO BE JORDAN CHILES!! I’m calling it now!!!,” and “I think number two is Simone Biles, she’s short like Jordan Chiles and she has short hair, but Jordan has long hair. Plus, she just retired from gymnastics so it would be the perfect time for her.”

Who Is Returning for DWTS Season 34?
There has been speculation about the pros signing up for Season 34, with currently only a new pro, Jan Ravnik, being confirmed. Ravnik was a backup dancer for Taylor Swift on her Eras Tour.

Fans have already shared their predictions for who they would like to see go far in the competition.
Professional dancer Daniella Karagach, who is married to pro Pasha Pashkov, shared her predictions for the season in an interview with People on June 3, 2025. She revealed that she thinks Irwin could be one to win the dance competition. “I think he’s great. I think he’s exactly like Stephen [Nedoroscik],” she said of the Season 33 contestant. “He’s America’s sweetheart. People loved Stephen — he just won everyone’s hearts, [he’s] so, so kind. And I feel like Robert gives that same energy.”
“I think people are going to fall in love with him,” she said of Irwin. “He’s going to do [well]. I mean, I’m sure he’s going to be in the finals.”
