The night has finally arrived, “Dancing With the Stars” is ready to foxtrot back into our lives. Season 34 of the long-running reality show begins Tuesday, September 16, at 8 PM ET/7 PM CT with a new batch of celebrities paired with pro dancers.
DWTS will air live on ABC and Disney+. It can also be streamed on demand after the episode airs on Disney+, and the following day on ABC.com and Hulu. For those eager to see their favorite pairing advance, there are currently two ways to vote.
Cast Your Votes: 10 Votes Max Per Couple! Let’s Go!
Viewers in the United States, its territories, and Canada are eligible to cast their “Dancing With the Stars” votes during the initial live broadcast. Voting will open at 8 PM ET/ 7 PM CT and close after the last couple’s dance.
To vote online, create an account at https://dwtsvote.abc.com. After verifying your email address, follow the onscreen prompts to cast your vote. You can vote for more than one couple during a voting period, with a limit of 10 votes per couple. When voting online, you also have the option to assign votes and save them every time a change is made.
The second option is to vote by SMS, and is not available to Canadian viewers. To vote this way, text the SMS keyword to 21523. Keywords for each couple will be available at https://dwtsvote.abc.com when voting opens. You receive a message after your first vote, and another if you’ve gone over the 10-vote limit for a couple. Unlike online voting, you do not need to have an account to vote.
Former DWTA Dancers Weigh in on This Season’s Favorites for the Trophy
Many fans are excited about this season’s dancers. The celebrities range from Hilaria Baldwin — someone with a lot of ballroom dancing experience — to self-professed beginner Corey Feldman.
Earlier this summer, several of the new contestants were announced. These included social media star and TikToker Alix Earle, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” stars Whitney Leavitt and Jen Affleck, and conservationist Robert Irwin. The rest of the cast was revealed on “Good Morning America” on September 3.

Several former “Dancing With the Stars” dancers have weighed in as to who they think may win the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy this season. Sharna Burgess recently answered fans’ questions on her Instagram stories and had a lot of thoughts when asked who she thought would win.
“Without seeing anything yet my top two are Jordan [Chiles] and Ezra [Sosa] and excited to see what he produces with a contender,” she wrote. “Mark [Ballas] is my all time fav so… it’s a given I’m excited about seeing his works. Whitney [Leavitt] can obviously dance.”
