Reality TV star Dylan Efron has been having an incredible time on “Dancing with the Stars” Season 34, and he has really been impressing fans and judges with his performance week after week. This week was no exception!
Fans React To Dylan Efron’s Jive Routine
Efron and his professional dance partner Daniella Karagach danced a jive routine to “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John. It is Week 8 and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night on the ABC dance competition, and Efron really stepped up his game. After his performance, the judges — Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and special guest judge Flavor Flav — scored him an impressive 36 out of 40. But what did fans feel about this result?
The official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram account posted a photo from the performance, minutes after Efron took to the ballroom stage to show off his incredible skills. The caption on the post reads, “Stand up! Dylan and Daniella’s Jive rocked the #DWTS ballroom to open #RockHallNight.”
Fans immediately reacted, flooding the post with comments about what they thought of Efton and Karagach’s dance, and whether the judges got it right with their scores. “Dylan served us abs and golden retriever energy! Flavor Flav knows what’s up” a fan wrote. “Flavor Fav about to be giving out 10s all nigh,” another shared.
Other reactions include, “ABS-solutely amazing!!,” “I just know Flavor Flav is going to keep this interesting,” and “DYLAN YOU ARE IMPROVING SO MUCH.”
Dylan Efron’s DWTS Journey
It’s incredible to think that just a few weeks ago, Efron had no prior dance background. He is such a natural and is so dedicated to anything he puts his mind to. Fans loved him on “The Traitors” Season 3, which he went on to win. But could he win the Mirrorball Trophy as well?
Efron has discussed his journey on DWTS and how he has overcome his own fears to perform. “My whole life, I’ve kind of steered away from the spotlight, and that’s kind of what tackling this show is for me,” he told Today in an interview in September, shortly after starting to compete on the ABC dance competition.
He continued, “It’s literally the first performance on stage with the spotlight on me. Like, my whole life, I’ve been more comfortable behind the camera, not being the focus of everyone. And this is a huge challenge to overcome that fear and not only have a spotlight on me, but actually command the stage and do the thing.” Despite Efron’s initial discomfort, the cameras love him, and so do fans! Let’s hope he is around for another week!
