Professional dancer Jenna Johnson has no shortage of projects to occupy her time. Between her ongoing run on the “Dancing With the Stars” 2026 live tour and another undisclosed project, professional dance takes up most of her schedule.
The cast list for “DWTS” season 35 won’t come out until later this year. However, fans sincerely hope to see Jenna compete again.
If ABC invites Jenna Johnson back to the ballroom, who would she like to have as her celebrity partner?
“DWTS” Pro Jenna Johnson Has a Very Specific Wish List
“Dancing With the Stars” has always played an important role in Jenna Johnson’s life. The show allows her to work alongside her best friends, as well as her husband, Val Chmerkovskiy. Many of her celebrity dance partners become like family.
When it comes to her next celeb partner, she has a few specific names in mind.
While speaking to Women’s World, Jenna explored the idea of her dream celebrity dance partner. If she can get a married couple to partner with her and Val, it would be even better.
“I feel like I’ve been on the Jason Kelce train for a minute. I’m, like, ‘How do we get him?” the 31-year-old shared. “I’ve also been begging Taylor Lautner to do it for many years. I’m hoping one day he’ll say yes. He could come in and do his backflips. His wife can come, too. They can be with me and Val. That would be iconic.”
In previous years, Jenna also expressed excitement over the idea of inviting Kylie Kelce to join the show as well.
A Few Celebs Will Always Be Special to the Dancer
When it comes to Jenna Johnson’s favorite pros, a few immediately top her list.
“JoJo Siwa and Joey Graziadei are obviously two of my favorites. And then I have to throw in Adam Rippon in there as well,” the season 33 champion recalled. “I think what made them so special for me as a partner was they were so open to the experience. They were incredible students, and so hungry to learn ballroom.”
Jenna went on to say that she loved Joey Graziadei’s open mind. She loved showing different sides of him to the audience and felt his personality really worked in their favor.
“People just fell in love with him being so vulnerable to the experience,” the dancer continued. “Obviously work ethic is a huge thing, and they all had that mindset that’s what makes a successful partner. I’ve been really lucky to have some great ones.”
“Dancing With the Stars” season 35 is expected to premiere this fall on ABC. Fans hope to see Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy return to compete.
