Kendra Wilkinson has opened up about the scrutiny she’s faced throughout her weight loss journey and how she’s now at a place where’s shes willing to accept that she’s not ‘Playboy skinny’ like she used to be in her early twenties.
The former Playboy model and reality TV star, 41, took to Instagram to have a candid chat with her followers about her ‘ageing body’ and how she no longer focuses her attention on the negativity that people on social media try to throw her way.
Kendra’s Post
Kendra posted a single photo of herself to her Instagram grid, smiling while sitting down at a desk behind a laptop. Alongside the snap, the star wrote a lengthy caption reflecting on her desire for peace instead of a perfect figure.
She began: “Sexy is the last thing I want to be now a days. I aim for health, happiness, success and gods light. Peace is everything to me. Sometimes I feel the negativity in the world but then I remember how amazing I am and get right back to it. It’s not easy being a “public figure” while figuring out life and its ups and downs but god gave me this platform for whatever reason. LOL.”
Kendra then delved into the scrutiny she’s faced online about her figure and how she’s now just content with being herself. She continued: “I see people poking at me for my body and my aging and it’s ok. I’m at peace and none of that stuff bothers me. I am happy being me and alive and watching my kids grow. If people want to be negative, that’s their energy not mine. I’m ok not being Playboy skinny anymore or bleached blonde 21 yr old. That was a time of my life but now I’m older and have lived a life.”
The model turned real estate broker finished off her statement by forgiving herself for anything in the past that dragged her down and penned a positive message about her future, which read: ” I forgive myself for all the things and can breathe in life a different way now. Life is good and I am so blessed and grateful!!”

Kendra moved into the Playboy Mansion in 2004 when she was only 18 years old. Other prominent career moments of hers include starring in hit E! realty show “The Girls Next Door” and competing on “Dancing With The Stars” in 2011.
