Robert Irwin’s Mom Melts Hearts With Adorable Halloween Throwbacks Before His ‘DWTS’ Night

Robert Irwin’s mom, Terri Irwin, is melting hearts this Halloween with a nostalgic tribute to her son ahead of his upcoming “Dancing With the Starsperformance. The wildlife conservationist shared adorable throwback photos of a young Robert dressed as Peter Pan, celebrating both his childhood charm and his current ballroom journey.

Robert’s Epic Throwback Photos

“Halloween night is next @dancingwiththestars. I can’t wait to see Robert dance the Argentine Tango with Witney. But I do kinda miss my little trick-or-treater!” Terri, 61, captioned the post.

The proud mom also encouraged fans to show their support, adding, “Be sure to vote by texting ROBERT to 21523 and ABC.com. Vote during the show, unless you’re on the West Coast. Then you need to vote from 5:00 pm. Peter Pan for the win!😂”

Robert Irwin Prepares for a Spooky Argentine Tango

According to ABC, Irwin and his pro partner Witney Carson will perform an Argentine Tango set to a haunting string version of Eurythmics’ 1983 hit “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This).” The performance promises to blend eerie elegance with Halloween energy.

The official “Dancing With the Stars” Instagram teased their routine with the caption, “We would travel the world and the seven seas to witness Robert and Witney’s ominous Argentine Tango this Tuesday.” Irwin joked in the comments, “The brief was to look scary/ominous here. Kinda missed the mark.”

Fans laughed along, with one writing, “I think it’s just impossible for you to look scary and ominous. That Irwin aura or something!”

A Tribute to the Past & a Family Legacy of Strength

The wildlife conservationist’s appearance on “DWTS” follows his emotional “Dedication Night” performance with his mom, during which he honored her strength and love following the death of his father, Steve Irwin.

“I think, growing up, there are certain things you don’t realize,” Robert told People. “A credit to my mum — I never felt as though I missed out on anything in life. I was missing a big part of my life, but she made sure I never felt I missed out.”

Steve Irwin died in 2006 at age 44 after being pierced by a stingray barb while filming in Australia. Robert was just two years old at the time.

Fans Can’t Wait for His Halloween Night Performance

Fans are already buzzing with excitement for the “DWTS” Halloween episode, praising Robert’s positivity and sense of humor online. Many said Terri’s post was a “sweet reminder” of how far her son has come, from a little boy in Neverland to a confident dancer on one of TV’s biggest stages.

The spooky-themed episode of “Dancing With the Stars” airs Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and Disney+.
