Australian conservationist, zookeeper, wildlife photographer, and current “Dancing with the Stars” champion Robert Irwin has been spotted with his rumored new girlfriend — and, suffice it to say, he was all smiles alongside her.
Irwin, 22, was seen at a Gold Coast parking garage with Ashleigh Scully. American Scully, 24, looked equally happy as she strolled side by side with the star.
Like Irwin, Scully is a wildlife photographer. She is also an accomplished athlete, having served as the equestrian team captain for Texas Christian University (TCU) during the 2024-25 season.
Both Irwin and Scully were dressed casually as they enjoyed their laid-back encounter. Irwin wore a navy blue polo shirt and light blue jeans. Scully was sporting a sleeveless navy blue dress while carrying a beige jacket.

Ashleigh Scully Is From New Jersey
In a May 2025 post on her Instagram account, Ashleigh Scully shared a little about herself with her 161,000 followers.
Accompanying a carousel of 10 photographs of herself over the years, Scully wrote a length caption.
The caption began, “My name is Ashleigh, I’m a 23 year old wildlife photographer and diver from New Jersey. I’ve been photographing since I was 8 years old and most of my portfolio comes from Jersey, Wyoming, Alaska, Norway and the oceans in between🩵 As of recently my focus has been on Arctic wildlife and the beginning of my underwater photography journey.”
It continued, “I was a Division 1 athlete for five years, completing my BA and MA in literature in 5 years due to NCAA eligibility from the pandemic. I wrote my Master’s thesis on the 19th century oil and whaling empire—specifically within the North Pacific, Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. I also studied geography and history.”
Before thanking her followers their support, Scully concluded her description of herself by saying, “I moved to and currently live in Jackson, Wyoming. I’m excited to live in such a beautiful place and see where the wind takes me.”
Irwin and Scully met in the United States way back in 2015. They’ve been seen with each other numerous times and sit on the judging panel for the Crikey! Magazine Photography Competition together. After months of rumors, things finally seem to be heating up between them.
Based on how Scully described herself, it really does sound as though they’re perfect for each other. The Daily Mail — who also point out that Scully was named Outstanding Young Nature Photographer by the North American Nature Photography Association — described the pair as a “match made in heaven.”
Scully Bears a Striking Resemblance to Robert Irwin’s Ex

Per People, the couple split in February 2024 after dating for over a year. They remain on friendly terms.
If Buckley and Scully’s aesthetic profiles are anything to go by, it’s safe to say Irwin definitely has a type.
