Robert Irwin Wins ‘DWTS’ Season 34

On November 25, 2025, Robert and his pro partner Witney Carson took home the Mirrorball trophy during the “Dancing With the Stars” season 34 finale.

Bindi won the competition in 2015 with her partner Derek Hough.

For Robert, the experience was life-changing. In a post-show interview with People, he explained how much the competition meant to him.

He touched on how Bindi winning “DWTS” helped spread the message of the Irwin family’s work with the Australia Zoo and the Wildlife Warriors charity.

“It’s about making the world a better place. And when I watched her lift that Mirrorball, I saw her lifting that message,” he explained.

“To follow in those footsteps and to do the same has meant everything to me,” Robert shared. “But personally, I feel this has absolutely changed my life.”

Of his partner, Robert said, “I’m just so grateful that I was here on this journey with Witney. You’ve got me forever … Witney pours her heart and soul into this, and I’m just so happy that we are here.”

Witney added that she “can’t think of anyone more deserving” than Robert to win “DWTS.”

She added, “I feel like I’ve been so proud of you week to week, and just to see you shine has been one of my biggest highlights in my life, and I just am so, so proud of you.”

Following the finale, Robert took to Instagram to share highlights of his “DWTS” winning moment, including sharing a hug with Bindi and posing with his sister and mom, Terri. “Dreams do come true,” he wrote in the caption.
