Fan favorite “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Ezra Sosa had a very important reason to watch the Super Bowl on February 8. His sister, former DWTS troupe member Stephani Sosa, was a dancer during Bad Bunny’s halftime show.
As his sister danced, the “Dancing with the Stars” pro shared his reaction via social media. Fans gushed right alongside him.
Stephani Sosa Danced Next to Jessica Alba During Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show
The “Dancing with the Stars” pro shared a peek at his sister’s performance via his Instagram page. In the caption, he wrote, “Never been more proud to be your brother and to be a Latin American.”
Sosa shared a couple of glimpses of his sister dancing in Bad Bunny’s halftime show. In the text over the video, he wrote, “Watching my sister perform in the Super Bowl/Bad Bunny,” with an emoji signaling how emotional he felt.
He also turned the camera to share a peek of himself. He covered his mouth with one hand and looked teary-eyed as he watched his sister. He appeared to wipe away tears a second later.
Stephani Sosa was most easily spotted dancing near Jessica Alba on the porch during the production. Pedro Pascal and Cardi B were also on the porch, as was “Dancing with the Stars” season 34 finalist Alix Earle.
The former “Dancing with the Stars” troupe member could also be spotted dancing near Bad Bunny later in the production. She was located just behind and to the side of Bad Bunny as he and the dancers performed on the turf.
DWTS Fans & Colleagues Went Wild Over the Performance
The comment section of Sosa’s post was filled with congratulatory notes from “Dancing with the Stars” colleagues and fans.
Judge Carrie Ann Inaba wrote, “I saw her and I cried! It was sooo good. We needed that beautiful performance!”
Stephani Sosa replied to Inaba’s comment, writing, “I LOVE YOU.”
Former contestants Ariana Madix and Jennifer Affleck left comments filled with celebratory emojis, as did many fans.
One fan gushed, “My goodness! Just when I didn’t think I could like you any more,” meaning they already adored Sosa and now love him even more.
Another fan commented, “I spotted her!!! So happy to see her on stage!”
Someone else raved, “LISTEN we all screamed watching @stephychica INSANE!!!!!”
The “Dancing with the Stars” pro also shared a photo featuring his sister with others via his Instagram Stories. He wrote, “PROUD BROTHER HERE, I was emotional for so many reasons but the main was seeing my sister shine.”
