Fans React to Whitney Leavitt & Mark Ballas’ Perfect Score on DWTS

The couples were celebrating 20 years of dancing tonight on “Dancing With the Stars” season 34, as the “DWTS” 2025 couples celebrated with the 20th Birthday Party. For this night, we saw “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Whitney Leavitt and her pro partner, Mark Ballas, perform an Argentine Tango routine to “Cell Block Tango” from “Chicago the Musical” tonight on “Dancing With the Stars” 2025.

Their scores have been tallied, but what did the fans think of the performance? Check out the fan reactions below in our “Dancing With the Stars” spoilers.

Week 9 Performance on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Season 34

They won immunity for the relay dances, so Whitney said they will be under a microscope tonight. For tonight, they will be dancing an Argentine Tango to “Cell Block Tango” from “Chicago The Musical.” This routine is inspired by Gabby Windey & Val Chmerkovskiy from the season 31 finale.

I mean, the song choice: perfection! I think they did a good job, and they worked very well together. The ending, though. That was a move, for sure, and she stuck the landing.

For the “Dancing With the Stars” judges, Carrie Ann said she is going to follow her wherever she goes after this show. The way she stuck that landing. Derek said it was dripping in elegance and control. Tom said still vote for them. Bruno said razor-sharp focus driven by passion, the best dance of the night, in his opinion.

They scored a 40 out of 40, the fourth perfect score of the night!

A Performance Good Enough for Broadway?

When it comes to this song, it’s meant for Broadway. Was this performance worthy of Broadway? The judges seemed to think so, but here is what the “Dancing With the Stars” fans are saying on social media.

They seemed to love it, as one fan wrote, “That was absolutely insane. Best dance of the season. Whitney was so hot and Mark is a DWTS legend! 😍❤️” Another person wrote, “I DONT WANT TO HEAR ONE BAD THING ABOUT THIS DANCE IT WAS LITERAL PERFECTION.”

The love continued, as this fan wrote, “That was incredible choreography and she nailed it 👏 I agree that it’s sad she isn’t in the relay round!! I would have FOMO too!” Another added, “If she goes home tonight I’M NOT GOING TO FORGIVE Y’ALL.”

Some final love for the perfect score, with one person saying, “Literally stopped breathing! This dance was FABULOUS 🔥🤩.”

  1. Yes. She was very good and deserved a perfect score. However, she wasn’t the only one with a perfect score. Just the only one who previously danced so she had a head
    start.

    • Elaine was a professional dancer. Alix was a competitive dancer
Jordan took dance classes and is an Olympic gymnast. Which means tons of dance.
