There’s no doubt that Elizabeth Hurley, 60, knows how to make a fashion statement. That’s just what she did during a trip to India when she slayed a dress that she was first spotted in almost 30 years ago!

Taking to Instagram on Sunday, March 8, the actress shared side-by-side photos of herself wearing the same black gown with a detailed embellishment on the front. In both shots, she has her hair down; however, in the older pic, she can be seen holding a purse. In the newer shot, she wears earrings, a necklace and a bracelet.

“Viva Versace! For this weekend’s adventure in India, I dug into my archives and unearthed one of my favourite pieces, which I last wore to the Met Gala in 1999 😳,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “27 years may have passed, but some loves never fade💋 #Versace #shoppingfrommycloset @versace @donatella_versace”

Elizabeth also shared a second Instagram post, writing, “India has been a pivotal part of my life for over 20 years and I cherish every moment in this magnificent country 🇮🇳 What a magical first night back in paradise, reuniting with some of favourite people on the planet ♥️”

Just a day before sharing the photos of herself in the same dress 27 years apart, Elizabeth also popped up a post on Instagram that showed her celebrating Holi during her trip to India.

Posting a collection of photos of herself, her son and other loved ones, the star added a caption, writing, “Happy Holi! What a glorious time to be in beautiful India with some of my favourite people in the world 🩷🩷🩷🩷”

For those who are unaware, “Holi is a Hindu festival celebrating the start of spring, which is the season of hope and new beginnings,” according to the Hindu American Foundation. “Often referred to as the ‘Festival of Colors,’ Holi is celebrated around the world and is recognized as a national holiday in some countries with significant Hindu populations.”
