There’s no doubt that Eva Mendes, 51, looks incredible when she’s onscreen and knows how to bring the glam to the red carpet. At the same time, the star looks amazing while slaying a totally natural face. She proved that last point is true when she posted a makeup-free selfie on social media.
Hopping onto Instagram on Friday, January 23, Mendes shared a close-up shot of her face while she gazes at something away from the camera. Her long auburn hair falls down one side while framing her beautiful bare face.
Indeed, while the famous figure tends to keep her personal life with husband and fellow star, Ryan Gosling, on the private side, she’s apparently perfectly willing to show off how she looks naturally. And that’s something that her fans love.

What Does It Mean to Be Type B?
GettyIn the caption of the post, Mendes wrote, “Happy to be Type B. ♥️ Throwing in some Didion here for no reason just because she’s Didion and the best. She was def not Type B tho. ♥️”
What does it mean to be Type B?
“Are you flexible, laid back, and easy-going? If you tend to be a laid-back, chill person, you might have a type B personality,” according to Verywell Mind. “While you’re probably familiar with the characteristics of the type A personality (aka the hard-driving, ambitious perfectionist), you might not be as familiar with its counterpart, the type B personality.”
Verywell Mind explains that “Type B personalities are often described as easygoing, relaxed, and highly flexible. They are basically the opposite of the type A personality. People with a type A personality are meticulous, whereas type B people tend to take a much more casual, carefree approach.”
At the same time, “[w]ith these low-stress traits, … comes a tendency to procrastinate, which can create problems on its own. If you’re a type B, learning more about personality can build greater awareness of the health, relationship, and work-related challenges you might face.”
