There’s no doubt that Eve is both a music and fashion icon. If you need proof of that, consider the fact that she just accepted a long-awaited Grammy Award while wearing an incredibly chic see-through dress.
Just Jared took to Instagram to explain that “Eve was just presented with a Grammy Award for a song that came out 27 years ago. She was previously uncredited for her work on ‘You Got Me’ by The Roots and now has been given an award for her work on the Grammy-winning single.”
To accept the honor, Eve opted to wear a truly eye-catching ensemble. Slipping on a shimmering dress that boasted bold shoulders and a form-fitting bodysuit, the piece was completed with a layer of sheer fabric that made up the lower section of the gown and left her legs on display.

“Oh, it has evolved! I started in the public eye in the 2000s where it was more is more is more — we wore everything,” Eve replied. “Throughout my career, I’ve then gone to more fashion things, and as you get older, you also refine.”
“I think that moving to London changed me too — I think my style is different, it’s a little more subtle,” she added. “Even though some people might not think that because I have pistachio hair or something, but I would still say it is more refined and womanly than it was, and also, now that I have a child, that defines certain things that I wear too. So it’s definitely changed.”

“There are so many people that look at fashion as being frivolous but I honestly believe that it’s such an important part of self-expression,” Eve explained. “It’s a way to signal to the world who we are, it’s our uniform. Yes, fashion can seem silly but it’s important — and I think it’s so much fun!”
