Heidi Klum isn’t shy about standing out at industry events and is known for wearing fashionably bold outfits when she steps out in front of the cameras. That’s just what she did on Sunday, February 1, when she showed up to the 2026 Grammy Awards.
The former “America’s Got Talent” judge opted to wear a dress that stretched down to her knees and featured buckles on the side that held the piece in place on her body. Of course, those weren’t the most notable aspects of the piece. The dress was hard and molded — a truly eye-catching item that was unlike anything else other stars were wearing at the event.

Heidi’s Dress Is a Mold of Her Own Body
Although the piece appeared as if it could be made out of plastic, Klum clarified things in an Instagram post.
Along with a photo of herself in the dress, she included a caption that read, “GRAMMY AWARDS 2026 😻 My [Marina Hoermanseder] dress is a leather mold handcrafted of my body and then lacquered to match my skin.”
The Dress Presented a Few Challenges
People also noted that “The Project Runway host was all smiles on the red carpet, despite the challenges of the dress.” What challenges were those?
Well, the star had a little trouble moving and walking in the rather stiff dress. She handled the situation by taking “baby steps,” as People pointed out on Instagram.
We have to imagine that trying to sit in the item would cause some difficulties. Indeed, People also revealed that Klum said “she’ll be giving a standing ovation ‘the entire night’ in her structured … dress.”
Of course, we’re sure that she made it work.
