The actress walked the Oscars red carpet with her mother, Hollywood legend Goldie Hawn, turning the star-studded arrivals into a memorable family moment. As photographers gathered outside the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, the mother-daughter duo posed together before heading inside for Hollywood’s biggest night, celebrating the year’s best films and performances.
Walking the Carpet Together

For Hudson, 46, she was wearing a strapless, peplum-style gown in the amazing shade of aquamarine blue. The beautiful gown featured a plunging cutout neckline. It also happened to be covered from the bottom to the top with shiny, silver, and blue sparkles.
She paired the look with a choker-style diamond necklace. The necklace featured a blue-green gemstone in the center. Hudson had her hair parted on the side, with big, voluminous curls.
During her red carpet appearance, Kate said, “She’s over there with my dad. My son’s here, and my partner. It’s a big family affair. It’s been emotional for everybody. The movie’s emotional. I think everybody that’s seen the film sees something that connects them to their own family and their own life.”
Hawn’s Look

Hawn, 80, accessorized her look with a pair of elegant, long gloves. She also had her blown-out blonde hair worn down, while styled in soft waves.
Million-Dollar Accessories

Kate stepped out in the custom Armani Privé gown, which featured the peplum bodice. However, the part of the look everyone was staring at was the 41 carats of rare green diamonds around her neck, according to E! News. The look was accessorized with the dazzling necklace and stud earrings.
