It has been an emotional few months for Nicole Kidman following her filing for divorce from Keith Urban, her husband of 19 years, on September 30, 2025. The couple’s divorce was finalized in Nashville on January 6, 2026. But when Kidman attended the Chanel Haute Couture Week Spring/Summer 2026 show during Paris Fashion Week on January 27, 2026, she looked gorgeous and happy. She also made a fashion statement in a little black dress.
A Vision at Paris Fashion Week
GettyKidman wore a black Chanel midi dress with a straight silhouette and feathered detailing at the neckline and hem. The outfit also featured a sequined black skirt, which made for a striking finish. To focus attention on her dress, the actress kept her makeup natural and wore her hair long and loose. She accessorized with black-and-white pumps, a black crocodile-effect leather bag, and black sunglasses.

GettyFans had expected to see Kidman at the fashion show because she is a Chanel ambassador. She discussed her role with the brand and Matthieu Blazy’s creative direction in October 2025. “As someone who has such an appreciation for haute couture, I am so looking forward to witnessing Matthieu’s vision for the oldest haute couture house still in operation and having the opportunity to wear what I know will be gorgeous creations,” she said in a statement to WWD.
Nicole Kidman Inspires with Her Comments on Aging
GettyAt 58, Kidman is an inspiration to many on how to age gracefully. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar in October 2025, she was asked what age she feels she is in her head, and she responded candidly, noting that she can feel both young and old.
“Sometimes I feel like I’m really, really, really old because I’ve had so many life experiences,” she said. “And then other times I feel like I’m still a little girl, like suddenly I feel like I’m five. I think there’s a sense of play that always feels available to me…I love dancing, playing, and being silly.”
Kidman continued, addressing what she has learned with age. “But as I get older, I want to be able to share and impart the things I’ve learned,” she said. “I’ve seen a lot, I’ve experienced a lot, and I’ve survived a lot. I want to pass on some of that knowledge and that wisdom and whatever I’ve learned.”
