Canadian actress Nina Dobrev has unveiled a gorgeous new look in the form of a dramatic hair transformation.
Dobrev, 37, is a natural brunette but has dyed her hair blonde for an upcoming movie role.
The scream queen — known for her roles in the CW’s supernatural drama series “The Vampire Diaries” and the 2015 supernatural horror movie “The Final Girls” — will star as Piper Bellinger in Peter Hutchings’ movie adaptation of Tessa Bailey’s 2021 novel “It Happened One Summer.“
She took to social media to reveal her new look to the world.

Nina Dobrev shared her fabulous new look with the 2.7 million followers on her Instagram account.
The star’s post includes a carousel of 20 photographs from the set of “It Happened One Summer” — the first of which best shows off her new blonde locks. Other pictures include “Superman & Lois” star Tyler Hoechlin, who will play Brendan Taggart in the film, and Gavin Leatherwood, who will play Fox Thornton, as well as several more pictures of Dobrev and the set.
Dobrev’s caption on her post reads, “Meet Piper 💁🏼♀️ Turns out blondes do have more fun… @ithappenedonesummer.”
Her followers loved the post (and her new look). They headed to the comments section en masse to have their say on it.

There is currently no official release date for “It Happened One Summer.” However, given that production began in July, it will surely wrap this year. That means its release is more than likely coming some time in 2027. We can’t wait to see it!
