Dobrev attended the “Ink” screening and walked the 2026 Opening Red Carpet at the event, which was held in Sala Grande. The moment was captured on film and shared in a TikTok video. It showed “The Vampire Diaries” on the red carpet trying to pose in her beautiful black sequined gown. As she was trying to create movement with her dress, staff members surrounded her. She appeared confused and left quickly while waving to fans.
The red carpet encounter has attracted a lot of attention online, and fans have flooded the post’s comment section with messages of support, calling the staff “rude” and saying Dobrev deserved her moment to shine and show off her outfit. “Why bother having a red carpet if you treat them like that,” a fan wrote. “Being nasty towards her for what reason??” another fan questioned.

And I wouldn’t say we’re like homies and go on vacation together, or anything, but I’m definitely friendly with her. She’s sweet and lovely and very intelligent.”
