Sarah Jessica Parker and her husband, Matthew Broderick, made a rare appearance on Monday, Jan. 26, in New York City with all three of their kids, James, 23, and twin daughters Tabitha and Marion, 16, Page Six reports.
The family of five enjoyed a night out at author Marc Shaiman’s book release party for “Never Mind the Happy: Showbiz Stories from a Sore Winner.”
SJP & Her Family of 5 in NYC
During their time at Sardi’s, a popular restaurant in Manhattan’s Theater District, SJP, 60, looked stunning as usual, wearing a casual all-black outfit with her hair slicked back to showcase her striking bone structure.
Broderick, 63, wore a checkered brown tie to match his checkered overcoat. Like their mom, the twin girls dressed more casually, while her son sported a tucked-in gray shirt with black slacks.
Although SJP often finds herself on red carpets and at fashion events, she and Broderick’s three kids typically stay out of the spotlight. However, James has begun following in his parents’ footsteps as an actor.
In Feb. 2025, James and Broderick shared the screen for the first time in the hit series “Elsbeth.” James told People that working alongside his father was a dream come true.
“What a thrill it was to work side by side with my dad — who also happens to be my favorite actor! The whole experience of working on ‘Elsbeth’ was beyond exciting, and I am very grateful to the producers for giving me this opportunity!” he expressed.
While his sisters are more private, James keeps his Instagram account open to the public and often shares photos of himself and his family — more specifically him and his dad.
Sarah Jessica Parker’s Nonnegotiable for Her Family
GettyIn a previous “Ruthie’s Table 4” podcast, SJP shared that she, Broderick and their three kids have an important nonnegotiable in their house: Sunday dinner together.
“We eat dinner as a family every night. And always have dinner every Sunday night,” she shared. “It’s just what we do.”
Although the “Sex and the City” actress carried her son before his 2002 birth, her twin girls were welcomed via surrogate, People reports.
In a previous interview with E! News, SJP shared how Tabitha and Marion are big fans of her 1993 film “Hocus Pocus,” telling the outlet that they “genuinely love” the movie.
The mom of three added, “I don’t know where they saw it for the first time, and they didn’t come home and tell me about it. I think they were at a certain point in their life also where I was an actor, and Matthew and I don’t talk about that a lot at home. They consumed it, absorbed it, and loved it and didn’t need to say more than that.”
