You can always rely on Vera Wang to pop up in something stylish. The 76-year-old fashion designer did just that when she shared photos of herself in a red see-through dress to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Taking to Instagram, Wang posted pics that saw her standing on a balcony with shiny heart balloons on either side of her. With her long hair worn down over one shoulder and no jewelry in sight, Wang’s gown was surely the star of the show. A full-length slip dress, the red sections were divided by a completely clear panel around her mid-thighs. The piece was both chic and eye-catching.
In the caption, Wang wrote, “WISHING YOU ALL A VERY VERY HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!!!!!! 😌🙏❤️💝🍫🌹 XXV”
The style icon’s friends, fans and followers left comments on the post admiring Wang’s Valentine’s Day style.
“Stunning dress Vera❤️,” one person wrote.
Another follower added, “Happy Valentine’s Day, you look good in red❤️”
“♥️♥️Lovely Refined Beautiful Lady Forever with unmatched Elegance and Graceful Style ♥️♥️Happy Valentines Day to a Magnificent Artist ♥️♥️🌸🌸,” a third fan wrote.
Someone else left a comment, saying, “LOOKING 👀 CLASSY AND GORGEOUS! Your gown is beautiful, must be from VERA WANG! HAPPY HEART’S DAY! ❤️💖💞❤️💖💞❤️💖💞❤️💖💞❤️💖💞❤️💖💞❤️💖💞❤️💖💞”

Vera Wang’s Fashion-Related Creativity Is a ‘State of Mind’
GettyAfter more than five decades in the fashion industry, Wang opened up to People in October 2024 about staying creative style-wise.
“I think it comes from me,” she said while talking about inspiration. “I mean, it comes from how I feel about fashion, how I feel about women, how I feel about design. And the incredible focus I’ve had for… This is my 55th year in the fashion industry. This is my 35th year with my own company. And it was my 75th birthday, so I think for me, it’s just a state of mind.”
