Who Won Last Year’s Miss Universe 2024 Pageant

On November 20, 2025, the world will find out who the newest Miss Universe winner is. That means today is a great time to look back on our 2024 Miss Universe before she passes on the crown.

Who Was Crowned Miss Universe 2024?

Victoria Kjær Theilvig, a model living in Copenhagen, Denmark, won the title of Miss Universe 2024. Theilvig was the first Danish woman to earn the crown. She was also the first blonde woman in over 20 years to win.

A few weeks before the Miss Universe 2025 pageant, Theilvig took to Instagram to reflect on the past year. The model described the title as “a dream,” but noted that even more so, being Miss Universe was “a privilege,” as she got to “represent so many women, voices, and causes that matter.”

Theilvig noted that the end of her reign was filled with mixed emotions, those emotions being “pride, hope, and a little sadness.” However, the main emotion she was feeling was “blessed to have had this opportunity.” For Theilvig, being Miss Universe was a “responsibility, a gift, and a chance to leave your mark on the world.”

Theilvig also took home a hefty prize for all her hard work. Not only did she receive $250,000 upfront, she also earned a monthly salary. This money allowed the competition winner to travel as the organization’s representative and participate in important philanthropy work. One cause important to Theilvig is animal rights, according to her philanthropy video.
