Zendaya has taken inspiration from a classic Prince look as she continues her press tour for new film “The Drama.”
Attending the Los Angeles afterparty on March 17, Zendaya stunned in an outfit referencing an iconic fashion moment by the singer.
Zendaya’s Lacy Look Pays Homage To Prince
Zendaya stepped out in a look reminiscent of an outfit Prince famously wore during his 1985 ‘Purple Rain’ tour, PEOPLE reported.
She donned a sheer, white lace shirt tied in a bow at the neck, paired with white, lacy, high-waisted flares with buttons. Zendaya completed the look with chandelier earrings and a side-swept hairstyle.
Designer Harris Reed created the look, posting a photo of Zendaya’s outfit on his Instagram page.
“A sneaky little peek of the sensational @zendaya last night wearing Harris Reed Fluid Bridal, directly inspired by Prince’s 1985 iconic all white lace stage outfit,” he captioned the post.
“An image that has remained one of my greatest inspirations of all time.”

Harper’s BAZAAR reported that Law Roach, the ‘image architect’ and close friend of Zendaya, styled her looks for the night.

Earlier, Zendaya wore in her 2015 Oscars dress for the premiere of “The Drama.” Her demure hairstyle and understated makeup certainly portrayed a particularly bridal look.

As well as her Oscars dress, she has rocked a white look made famous in the first “Sex and the City” film.
However, these all-white looks could be more than just dressing on theme to promote the film.
PEOPLE reports that stylist Roach revealed Zendaya and fiancé Tom Holland had secretly tied the knot.
While speaking to Access Hollywood at the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1, Roach claimed, “The wedding has already happened.”
“You missed it!” he teased.
The couple have not responded to any requests for statements concerning their possible nuptials, said PEOPLE.
