Brennan Elliott Teases ‘Something Pretty Special’ as Fans Hope for His Hallmark Return

Hallmark fan favorite Brennan Elliott had hearts fluttering with his latest social media post. The “His & Hers” star has been teasing fans that he’s got new projects in the works, and his latest Instagram post gave everybody a bit more information.

Brennan Elliott Can’t Say Much About the New Project He’s Filming

On April 30, Elliott shared a big smile in a selfie he posted on Instagram. The Hallmark star wrote, “Back in the gym… back on set! Man it feels good!”

Elliott wore a black tank top, and gym equipment could be seen in the room behind him. The actor’s muscular arms and sly smile seemed to signal to fans that he’s doing well these days.

The caption of Elliott’s post continued, “Missed this and missed you guys too. Been quiet for a bit but I’m back!”

“Working on something pretty special. Can’t say much YET, but stay tuned,” he teased.

This is not the first time in recent weeks that Elliott has hinted at new and exciting projects.

In March and early April, Elliott posted, then deleted, two Instagram posts that hinted at a Hallmark return.

In one message Elliott posted on March 24, and took down from Instagram fairly quickly, he shared that he was “filming a new project coming out this year!”

Another March Instagram post caption included a note that Elliott had “just wrapped a very personal and special movie.” He included a hashtag for Hallmark Channel, which suggested that his new project would be for the network.

An April 3 post of Elliott’s also referenced how quiet he had been on social media. He admitted, “I have had to be quiet on this one, cause it’s a special project, but can speak about it when I can!”

Fans could see that Elliott was in great spirits based on his smile in his newest Instagram post. To emphasize that, he reiterated that in the caption of his April 30 post. He wrote, “Your boys back!”

Fans Are Eager to See the Actor Back on Hallmark

Elliott also asked, “Tell me… what kind of story are you wanting to see next?”

Hallmark fans were happy to share their thoughts. Whatever project it is that has Elliott looking so happy, whether it’s for Hallmark or somewhere else, his radiance charmed his eager fans.

“I am praying that Hallmark puts you back on my screen soon! You are such a fan favorite,” one fan wrote.

Interestingly, Elliott replied directly to that fan. “I would love @hallmarkchannel to put me on all the time too. I’ll let you know when I’m on your tv.”

Multiple fans noted that what they want to see Elliott starring in next is a new Christmas movie. Someone else went big with their wish list, writing, “I want to see you in Christmas, Summer, Mystery Series!! Let’s get it done!! Don’t forget Lacey!! You two are my favorite Hallmark couple!!”

By Lacey, the fan meant Hallmark Queen Lacey Chabert. Elliott and Chabert have starred together in 10 Hallmark projects, dating back to the 2015 movie “All of My Heart.”

In addition to “All of My Heart” and its sequels, Brennan and Chabert co-starred in Hallmark’s “Crossword Mysteries” movies together. The last project they did together was the 2024 movie, “His & Hers.”

Some fans in Elliott’s comment section specifically mentioned “Crossword Mysteries,” with one fan declaring they needed five new movies starring the dynamic duo together again.

Another fan wrote, “Doesn’t matter the story as long as you’re in it! You have always been one of my favorites from the beginning! Great to have you back!”

Elliott’s return to acting has come at a slow pace. As Hallmark fans know, his wife, Camilla Row, died in March 2025 after an eight-year battle with cancer. After stepping back from work for a while, he has taken on a couple of small roles in recent months.

Now, however, it sounds as if Elliott’s got something much bigger in the works. Hallmark fans don’t seem to mind the teasing from him, although they are clearly ready for specific details regarding when he’ll be back on their television screens.
