Eight months after Hallmark star Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe publicly revealed her stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis, she completed a major step in her treatment journey. On June 4, 2026, the “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” star shared a video of herself ringing the bell at the radiation center, signifying the end of active treatment.
“Guess what I did today,” Lowe wrote in the caption of her social media post. “I rang that very last bell. My radiation journey is complete.”
But Lowe, 45, was also honest about the “terrifying” aspect of this major milestone, with so many unknowns about recovery and the very real fear of recurrence shared by most breast cancer patients. Still, the mom of two celebrated the huge achievement and received an outpouring of love from Hallmark friends.
Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe is Cautiously Optimistic About Finishing Radiation
After several months of chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, a second surgery to eliminate lingering cancer cells, and 15 rounds of radiation, Lowe has every reason to celebrate her resilience and honor every emotion that comes with this stage of a cancer journey.
“It is terrifying to say it’s ok which sounds ridiculous but anyone going through this will get it,” Lowe wrote in the caption of her post. “I’ve spent the last year prepping to just deal with all of this.”
According to National Breast Cancer Foundation patient advocate Jessica Baladad, “While the end of treatment is often celebrated as a finish line,” many patients also feel like they’ve “stepped into an uncharted season of recovery,” which can include further reconstructive surgeries, new medicines, and adjusting to significant physical changes.
Sporting her newly dyed blond pixie, Lowe looked both happy and nervous as she rang the bell in her video. It also showed her reading the sign behind the golden bell, which read, “Right this bell / Three times well / Its toll to clearly say / My treatments done / This course is run / And I am on my way”
In her post, Lowe admitted, “Letting myself believe it’s over feels so good but so scary in case something changes 🙈 I guess that’s what all the survivors have been talking about. But besides that..,,,wooooooooo hooooo!!!! Radiation complete!!! 15 rounds in the can!”
