Although real-life Hallmark couple Erin Krakow and Ben Rosenbaum can’t wait for the arrival of their first baby, they’re also savoring their last days of alone time. On March 25, 2026, the “When Calls The Heart” stars shared glimpses of their babymoon — a final getaway many expectant couples take before their little one arrives.
Identifying their babymoon destination as California’s historic Ojai Valley Inn in a social media post, Krakow captioned their photos by writing, “Thank you @ojaivalleyinn for such a beautiful 👶🏻🌙”

Krakow and Rosenbaum, who married in June 2025 after years of dating, live in Los Angeles when not in Vancouver to film their hit series, in which Krakow stars as beloved series lead Elizabeth Thornton and Rosenbaum plays jack-of-all-trades Mike Hickam.
The Ojai Valley Inn is located about 90 minutes from L.A., so the couple didn’t have to fly for their babymoon. The five-star resort dates back to 1923, when business magnate Edward Libbey — widely considered the “founding father” of Ojai — built the area’s first private country club and golf course.
Over the years, the inn — where rooms start at $839 per night — has served as a military training center during World War II and the backdrop for films starring Hollywood legends like Katherine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy. A stunning 31,000-square-foot spa was built later.
Krakow shared four photos from her and her hubby’s babymoon, starting with a blurry but magical image of them walking arm-in-arm beneath one of the resort’s giant trees, with twinkling lights above them.
The next photo was of a place setting with a cupcake and a note from the resort’s staff that said, “Babymoon Wishes! On behalf of our entire team, we are delighted to welcome you to Ojai Valley Inn to celebrate your growing family. Wishing you health and joy as you welcome your new baby, and we thank you for joining us!”
A third photo featured the beautiful, hilly landscape of Ojai at dusk, with the moon rising beyond a tree with a sweet bird perched on top.
Krakow could be seen in the fourth photo — or, rather, her bare baby bump and pedicured toes could be seen — as she lounged by the pool with a wooden tray holding two meals, which looked to be a tofu veggie bowl and a half sandwich with an array of fresh fruit.

Hearties expressed how happy they were to see Krakow and Rosenbaum prioritizing down time in a beautiful place before their baby’s arrival, including one who wrote, “You’re so wise to get this in!”

Krakow and Rosenbaum announced their baby news on the day before Thanksgiving, posting photo booth pics of themselves with their beloved pup, Willoughby, wearing a “big brother” t-shirt while they held up sonogram images.
They have since shared pics of Krakow’s growing baby bump, teasing a spring baby who’s likely due to arrive by early April. Their WCTH co-star Chris McNally revealed in December that he and his wife, Hallmark actress Julie Gonzalo, are expecting their second child within six weeks of Krakow and Rosenbaum, and another WCTH couple, Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace.
