If you have watched it, then you may be interested to find out that the Hallmark star has left behind the big city location of her movie to spend some time in the desert … and her trip was absolutely scorching due to more than just the heat.
Celebrating Earth Day by sharing a glimpse of her enjoying Joshua Tree National Park, the star posed in a fiery red bikini that was absolutely sizzling.
Kim Enjoyed an Idyllic Getaway in Joshua Tree
Kim took to Instagram on Wednesday, April 22, to share a collection of photos that showed her enjoying some time in the desert.
Along with a pic showing her making bubbles by a pool and absolutely glowing while wearing a red bikini, other images see the star making memories with her companions. There’s also a video of Kim bravely climbing massive rocks amid the sun-soaked landscape.
In the caption, Kim wrote, “Happy Earth Day 🌵🌺 Joshua Tree #joshuatreenationalpark”
The post prompted quite a few comments from her followers, with fellow Hallmark star Brittany Mitchell leaving an emoji-filled message, popping in, “😍😍😍😍😍😍😍”
“I love you ♥️✨ You’re such a babe,” wrote soap opera star Linsey Godfrey.
“Hawtiiieee 🔥🔥🔥😍,” another fan added.
“More desert time, please! 🌵,” came from another social media user.
Someone else left a comment, saying, “I know that you always loved nature so this scene is just so you. Be safe out there and enjoy every moment. 😎✌️💕”
This Isn’t the First Time Kim Has Slayed a Swimsuit
Fans who have been following Kim on social media for a while now will know that she occasionally shares photos and videos of herself in stunning swimsuits.
For instance, on August 26, 2025, she posted a video of herself in a red bikini (see above and flip to the end of the gallery to see it) while marking another special day. She also shared a message, writing, “My birthday weekend was fantastic. Thank you to everyone who made it special xoxoxo”
Before that, on February 24, 2024, she shared photos of herself in a red one-piece swimsuit while soaking in a natural pool of steamy water, writing, “Oh hey I’m in Iceland and it’s beautiful.”
Go back even further in her Instagram posts, and you’ll find one from August 10, 2021, that shows Kim in a — yes, you guessed it — red swimsuit (although it looks pink in some of the colorful lights). Another two-piece, she can be seen slipping into bubbly water, and in the caption, wrote, “Hot tub summer.”
Granted, while most of Kim’s swimsuit-related posts are taken amid enviable circumstances, one from April 25, 2020 is quite different. In the hilarious video that shows the star’s silly side, she can be seen in a colorful bikini as she appears to be spending time in her backyard.
However, she happens to be covered in dirt and is being hosed off as she moves her body rather wildly and sings her own version of “Maniac” — “I’m a maniac, a maniac on the floor, and I’m dancing like I’ve never danced before!”
