Lori Loughlin turned heads after debuting a dramatic new ‘do that also seemed to catch the attention of her estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli.
The Hallmark actress, best known for her starring roles as Abigail Stanton in the beloved series “When Calls the Heart” and as Jennifer Shannon in the “Garage Sale Mystery” movie series, showed off her layered bob and bangs at an event with her daughter Olivia Jade earlier this month. Following this transformation, it was reported that Giannulli started sending the actress “flirty texts” to tell her how “incredible” she looks.
Source Says Giannulli Complimented Loughlin’s New Look
Getty“He’s been sending flirty texts and telling her she looks incredible,” a source told Star Magazine in an April 24 article. “Mossimo went so far as to suggest they go on a date together for old time’s sake.”
The source continued that, “while his flattery is a big boost for Lori’s self-esteem, he’s wasting his time,” as she “has zero interest in turning back the clock.”
“Lori and Mossimo actually talk quite a lot,” the source added and she’s “forgiven him for the most part…”

In April 2024, Loughlin discussed forgiveness during a conversation with First for Women Magazine, according to PEOPLE.
“I try to be a forgiving person. I’m not one to hold onto stuff. Stuff happens to everyone. We’ve all been in positions to ask for forgiveness but to ask for it, you have to learn and know how to give forgiveness, too,” she said.
“My family wasn’t one to hold grudges. I didn’t grow up in a household where if you made a mistake, you weren’t forgiven,” she continued. “No one is perfect, we all make mistakes. So I was always told to let stuff go. And I think for your own health, you have to let things go because you can’t hang on to negativity. Life’s too short.”
Despite this, the source told Star Magazine that “her friends are encouraging Lori to enjoy the dating scene…” instead of going back to Giannulli.

GettyLoughlin Thrills Hearties With an Early Return to Hope Valley
It was revealed back in December 2025 that Hallmark Channel’s hit series “When Calls the Heart” had been renewed for a 14th season and would see the return of Loughlin as Abigail Stanton, per PEOPLE. The exciting news dropped ahead of the Season 13 premiere, which was nearly seven years after Loughlin’s final episode aired in Season 6.
But Loughlin’s appearance in Hope Valley came earlier than fans expected when she made a surprise cameo in the final episode of Season 13. In the finale, after Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Nathan’s (Kevin McGarry) engagement, a taxi rolled down the main street of Hope Valley and pulled over in front of the Visitor’s Centre.
The character stepping out of the car was revealed to be Abigail, who smiled and looked around as she said, “It’s good to be home.”
