Odette Annable has charmed fans with her appearance on “Kentucky Roses.” However, there are a trio of people who adore the Hallmark star even more than her many admirers. That’s her family, which includes her husband, actor Dave Annable — who you might have seen as Dr. Neal McNamara on “Special Ops: The Lioness” — and their two adorable daughters Charlie, 10, and Andi, 3.
Despite the fact that both Odette and Dave surely have busy schedules, they recently took time to make memories with their children on a fabulous family vacation.
The Family Enjoyed Sun, Sand, Water and Each Other’s Company
Odette took to Instagram on Tuesday, May 19, to share a collection of photos that show herself and her family on a special trip. In the caption, she wrote, “Vacation mode activated thanks to @beachesresorts. First beach trip for Andi! We love Turks and Caicos! Part 1 of the most needed getaway #treasurebeachvillage 🌞 🐚 🌴 🌊”
In one pic, Odette and Dave can be seen sharing a romantic moment on the beach, while other shots show the little ones enjoying the sand and water — even turning their mom into a mermaid.
There are also images of Dave and Andi taking a nap together, and the kids enjoying some sweet snacks. One photo also seems to show the four family members on a boat, which was surely lots of fun.
Odette’s social media followers loved the photos, with one person writing, “Looks like a DREAM!”
“Cutest mermaid I ever did see! You deserve it! Enjoy 🕶️ ☀️,” another fan added.
A third person wrote, “You and Dave have such a beautiful energy together. Couple goal!!! 🙏🏼💗”
“Lovely pics! Beautiful family! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” came from another follower.
Dave’s “Lioness” co-star Michael Kelly also left a comment, saying, “Just relaxed a lil watching that slide show.”
Odette & Dave Were Separated Before Reconciling
GettyWhile Odette and Dave appear to be enjoying their life together these days, there was a time when things between them were a little iffy.
“Hollywood is a great place, but it’s also extremely toxic. And we became better when we were around other people because we would do the Odie and Dave thing, and it was happy, but then when we were behind closed doors, we lost our communication,” Odette explained during a conversation with “Bathroom Chronicles” podcast hosts Kimberly Van Der Beek and Peggy Rometo in April 2023.
“We didn’t understand how to be the best versions of ourselves,” Odette explained. “We became co-dependent. And everything just started to unravel.”
Getty“The only way that I knew that we would get past it was if I understood how to become a whole person, and it was through a lot of meditation, a lot of sisterhood, a lot of talks about your relationships and what it takes to really become a whole person,” she said. “So I took that six months, and we were separated for about six months, to dive in.”
After spending time “find[ing] happiness within” and “learn[ing] how to find happiness alone with my daughter [Charlie, before Andi was born],” Odette revealed that “ultimately, all of these lessons led to ‘Oh [expletive], we can do this together, we just needed to learn how to do it alone first…'”
