Sarah Drew apparently was feeling sentimental heading into Christmas. The Hallmark star admitted she had an emotional reaction to a post shared on the “Mistletoe Murders” Instagram page.
Fans had plenty to say in response to the post, and a common theme was that fans felt worried that “Mistletoe Mysteries” would not be brought back for a third season.
Hallmark Fans Want More ‘Mistletoe Mysteries’
On December 24, a video containing a montage of cast and crew members from “Mistletoe Murders” was posted on the show’s Instagram page.
The caption read, “A massive thank you to the best in the business! We want to thank all of our wonderful crew and our studio execs who [work] tirelessly on our series.”
It continued, “This is just some of our incredible team! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone!”
The top comment was from Drew. She questioned, “Why am I crying????” She also included several red heart emojis in her post.
One fan responded, “Because this year has not been great for most, the show brings so much joy, and I guess we all just think it’s cancelled, what’s one more thing this year.”
Another fan commented, “Love the show, more seasons please.
Someone else added, “Looking forward to next season. Then all these folks will have jobs and we who love the show can say ‘THANK YOU’!!!!!!”
Sarah Drew Has Told Fans to ‘Make Some Noise’
It doesn’t appear that Drew personally responded to any of the comments from fans asking for more seasons of “Mistletoe Mysteries.” However, there was a comment from the page itself in response to one question.
A fan asked, “Will there be a season 3? Is there gonna be another time jump?” The response read, “We sure hope so!”
Another fan’s comment read, “I told Santa that all I want for Christmas is more seasons of Mistletoe Murders @hallmarkchannel.”
Drew has been vocal in saying she wants the show to return as well. She addressed the possibility of another season during an appearance on the “Pop Culture Unplugged” podcast in November.
She said they were eagerly waiting for Hallmark to give them the go ahead before getting too deep into conversations about storyline developments.
“Make as much noise as you can,” Drew suggested to fans who wanted to see the series return to Hallmark.
On December 2, Hallmark announced that “When Calls the Heart” was already renewed for season 14, which will premiere in 2027. Season 13 debuts on January 4, 2026.
However, the network doesn’t generally dish out such early renewals. In the case of “Mistletoe Mysteries,” the show’s fans and stars will have to continue to hold tight for now. Fans clearly want to see more, and hopefully news on that front will emerge soon.
Mistletoe Murders should be a series! Cast is so perfect together. Love Sarah so much. Puleeeze keep producing more!!!!! I will forego my “hippopotamus ” for Christmas if I can have more episodes!!!!
I so enjoyed Mistletoe Murders and thought it was much better than most of the Holiday Themed Movies. I have been a big Sarah Drew fan since watching her on Greys Anatomy. Each episode had me excited for the next. Please don’t disappoint. I also enjoyed 12 Dates til Christmas not quite as much as Mistletoe, but it was also enjoyable and left me waiting for the next episode.
I was reluctant to start watching Mistletoe Mysteries because Hallmark has a NASTY habit of getting me hooked on a series (Mystery 101) then canceling. But I started watching and LOVE it.
PLEASE HALLMARK!!! Don’t cancel Mistletoe Mysteries!!

I LOVE MM. It’s a favorite of mine. I look forward to seeing every episode and if I can’t watch it in person I tape it and that enables me to watch over and over. And you know what, every time I watch it I see or hear something I missed. PLEASE HALLMARK let there be another season – #3!!!!!! Thanks. And I also want to say that I truly love the entire cast. They blend so well together. It’s evident to me and I’m sure to all watching that this cast loves working on this series.

The show is amazing. Please bring it back! I’m not saying this out of dislike for the Christmas movies but this series was a great interjection of something different and interesting when the movies seem to lack in spirit. Changing up the programming like Baked with Love and Finding Mr. Christmas made the season bright!!
