Hallmark fans were excited to see Tyler Hynes, Paul Campbell, and Andrew Walker back for the third film of their fun Christmas sieres, “Three Wisest Men.” This third movie follows the 2022 film “Three Wise Men and a Baby” and the 2024 sequel, “Three Wiser Men and a Boy.”
Ahead of the “Three Wisest Men” debut, Campbell and Hynes chatted about the movie with TV Fanatic. They were asked if it was possible additional “Three Wise Men” might be made, and the door may be slightly more open to that happening than had previously been believed.
In July, Walker told EntertainmentNow, “This is a wrap-up movie.” While he mentioned the love the cast has for one another, he suggested it might be “selfish” to want to do more in this series.
“We’re really happy to just get this third opportunity to do this, and to kind of, you know, tie it up with a bow and send it off and maybe create something fresh,” he added.
Walker shared those thoughts before filming of “Three Wisest Men” began. Could his tune have changed now? His co-stars seemed to suggest that this movie is intended to be the last, but they could potentially be convinced by fans to do more.
Paul Campbell & Tyler Hynes Want to Keep Working With Andrew Walker & Kimberley Sustad
During their interview with TV Fanatic, both Hynes and Campbell admitted they were astonished they even got to do one of these movies, nevermind three of them. Campbell noted that in terms of additional “Three Wise Men” movies in the future, “There are no plans for four, five, six at the moment.”
However, both Hynes and Campbell added, that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be open to the possibility.
Hynes noted, “We all love each other and however we can collaborate, we want to.”
Adding in a reference to co-star and co-writer Kimberley Sustad, Hynes added, “The truth is, there’s a lot of potential between the four of us that the world hasn’t even seen…What the future holds, we’ll find out.”
“But there’s definitely no shortage of love and camaraderie amongst the four of us. So grateful and happy and looking forward to whatever the future brings,” Hynes shared.
Both Campbell and Hynes agreed they would love to reprise their characters as the Brenner brothers again. “I would want to do anything in these characters, yes,” Hynes declared.
Hynes noted that they want to make sure they create a “fulfilling experience” for the audience, however that looks. That may mean collaborating as a group on something entirely new, but Sustad, Hynes, Walker, and Campbell are quite interested in doing more projects together.
Campbell explained, “The four of us have this incredible chemistry as a group, as a team. And the characters, as fun as they are, I mean, if there’s a great story there to tell, sure, it’d be fun to tell another story.”
Hallmark Fans Still Adore the Brenner Brothers Dynamic
Campbell also explained that their joy comes from the dynamic of the four of them collaborating on projects with one another. They would enjoy returning with another version of “Three Wise Men.” However, “It would be also fun to explore different characters in different worlds,” he added.
“We definitely want to keep the band together, whether it’s another iteration of ‘Wise Men’ or it’s something completely different. That remains to be seen,” he added.
It seems likely that fans of the “Three Wise Men” trilogy will be yearning for more. As the movie aired on Hallmark, many shared their excitement over it online.
One Reddit user wrote, “Is it chaotic and ridiculous? Yeah. And you know what? I’ll be sat for three more of these should Hallmark…choose to do so. It’s hot men, cute kids, a dysfunctional family, and Christmas. What’s not to like here?”
Another admitted, “I know most think Hynes and Walker are the hot ones, but honestly Campbell is my favorite brother.”
On X, a fan shared, “Just finished watching #ThreeWisestMen Hopefully we’ll get one more with Tay getting married!!!”
Another tweet read, “This was so much fun with twists and hilarious scenes! Looking forward to rewatching today.”
Someone else added, “Third movie is the best by far!”
“Three Wisest Men was 10/10. Please continue making these, Hallmark,” tweeted an additional fan.

What an Awesome 6 movie series it would be
– I would love it and I am a GAF watcher – so do this Hallmark and win me back!!!!
Doesn’t Hallmark realize what they created here? The Christmas theme is great. But they have created a movie “FAMILY” like Ozzie &Harriet, or The Nelson’s. The plots, situations, ideas are limitless. Come on Hallmark, ya gotta see it!! Question is; can you keep the stable together to keep making the movies??
I think they are wearing it thin,,,,,, let it go!
This trilogy is so great, truly a favorite with such a fun and talented cast! The trio of Campbell, Hynes & Walker is fantastic. Kimberly making an appearance as the wonderful doctor is an added bonus; I’ve been a fan of hers for years, she’s truly a wonderful actor. Margaret Colin is wonderful, warm and the perfect mom to the Brenner boys. Her looks and some of her mannerisms make me think she could be Kimberly’s real mother. Mark Hamilton adds just the right amount of Mark to the trilogy and Fiona & Erin are the perfect partners. Thank you for these wonderful movies!!
Yes yes yes to more movies. I’ve watched them all at least 5 xs now and love them all. Do not disappoint your fans. I look forward to them. Thank you and Happy Holidays !!!
I Love These Movies and they really make me laugh. I hope they will make a fourth one. They are such great actors. Thank you for making movies that the whole family enjoy.
Yes! They are hysterical together. We need more of their craziness that just gives so much joy!
i would not like to see fourth one leave it at them growing up to there responsible adults getting on with there lives don’t drag it on make a different kind besides three wise leave it to audience imagination its like the groomsmen three is enough
The Three Wisest Men was fantastic! Loved all three in the franchise. Great performances by everyone. Love of family makes the audience so much more aware.
Would love to see a fourth movie. You not only keep us laughing, but there is always a message that love is the glue that holds a family together. Also, I loved, loved the “wrapping paper” suits.
