Daniella Monet to Star in ‘Victorious’ Spinoff & Fans Are Going Wild

Thirteen years after Nickelodeon’s popular series “Victorious” ended, actress Daniella Monet will reprise her role in a spinoff series, Variety reported on October 23, 2025. Monet’s most recent projects have been the Hallmark movies “Sisterhood Inc.” in early 2025 and “Holiday Crashers” in 2024.

According to Variety, Netflix has ordered 26 episodes of the new series called “Hollywood Arts,” which Monet will executive produce while reprising her role as Trina Vega. The series will hit Netflix in 2026, and will later be released on Nickelodeon and Paramount+.


Daniella Monet Tells Fans ‘Surprises’ are Coming to ‘Victorious’ Spinoff

“Victorious” aired for four seasons on Nickelodeon, from 2010 to 2013. In addition to Monet, the cast featured Arianna Grande, Victoria Justice, Leon Thomas III, Matt Bennett, Elizabeth Gillies, and Avan Jogia.

Monet is the only returning cast member for now, but when Nickelodeon announced the spinoff news on social media, with photos of the cast at a table read, Monet wrote in the comments, “we have some surprises up our sleeve :)”

Yvette Nicole Brown has already been named as a guest star, and the new cast will include rising stars Alyssa Miles, Emmy Liu-Wang, Peyton Jackson, Erika Swayze, and Martin Kamm.

According to Variety, the official logline says, “Struggling actress Trina Vega (Monet) returns to her former high school, Hollywood Arts, as an unqualified substitute teacher, quickly finding herself both clashing with and unexpectedly inspiring a new generation of ambitious and talented students as they learn to find their true path at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school.”


Daniella Monet Spilled the News With a Cute Social Media Reveal

Monet and AwesomessTV spilled the news in a joint post on October 23, with a social media video that teased the new series. Monet held up sheets of paper that read, “The rumors are true … Hollywood Arts is in production!”

In the comments, she wrote, “this is so nuts guys!! I can’t believe this is all real life!!”

In a statement sent to Variety about the new series, Monet said, “Coming back as Trina alongside such a dynamic, powerful cast of newcomers is something I feel very lucky and grateful to do.” ‘

She continued, “‘Victorious’ was in a lot of ways life changing for all of us, our cast is forever bonded by that experience, and to think that I have an opportunity to steward anything close to that is a feeling I can’t begin to describe. As an actress, producer, and mom, I am so eager to create something we can all be proud to share with the world.”

Fans of the original series were losing their minds over the news on October 23, with many expressing hopes that the rest of the cast will make cameos or even stage a reunion on the new show.

Monet liked many of those comments, including one from someone who excitedly wrote, “!!!! OMG!!! Daniella, congrats!
