Hallmark’s “The Way Home” is almost to the midway point of the fourth and final season. Fans were heartbroken to learn in November 2025 that the show was canceled, and many continue to rally for it to be brought back despite its cancellation.
The stars of “The Way Home” seem to share those sentiments. They recently shared their thoughts on the idea of returning for a revival or reboot of some type.
‘The Way Home’ Cast Is ‘Down’ to Return
The cast didn’t hesitate when TV Insider asked whether they would be willing to return if “The Way Home” were revived.
Immediately, Chyler Leigh (Kat) declared, “I’m down.”
Both Evan Williams (Elliot) and Sadie Laflamme-Snow (Alice) were quick to express their enthusiasm for the possibility, as well.
Laflamme-Snow noted, “I mean, there’s no end to a time travel show.” Leigh interjected, “We could go Jurassic.”
The “Jurassic” reference, of course, was to the “Jurassic Park” movies. Throwing the Landry family into the days of the dinosaurs would certainly be a wild trip.
In response to that suggestion, Williams responded, “Let’s go!”
“I don’t know if that would be my first choice, but yeah, sure,” Laflamme-Snow responded. She sweetly added, “If it means being with you guys, I’ll do anything.”
Leigh added, “There’s always going to be more stories to tell…Is anything ever really done?”
“A Landry never gives up hope,” she enthusiastically declared, and her co-stars echoed that sentiment. Williams winked and added, “If the demand is there.”
Fans Are Not Ready for the End
On April 13, executive producer Alexandra Clarke talked with TV Insider about this final season. Clarke teased that the “door is never closed” when it comes to a revival or something similar.
She added, “There will always be questions in our show, even near the end. So it’s always nice to leave people going, ‘Well, I wonder if…'”
Clarke added that with the finale, “There certainly will be answers, and hopefully satisfying ones. That’s the whole point.”
Fans of “The Way Home” have made it clear online that they aren’t ready to see the Landry adventures end.
On a May 3 Instagram post on the show’s page, one fan commented, “I’m sad this is the final season but also can’t wait to finish it!”
Another fan responded, “Maybe there can be a sequel/spinoff?”
Someone else pleaded, “@hallmarkchannel Please don’t let this be the final season.”
On another Instagram post on “The Way Home” page, a fan commented, “The best show! We need another season!”
An additional comment read, “Please don’t end this show Hallmark channel!!!!”
Episode 4 of “The Way Home,” airing on May 10, is titled “We’ve Got Tonight.” Hallmark teases, “When Nick arrives back in Port Haven, Del throws a party like old times.”
In addition, “Alice has to keep her distance from Young Colton and Del, but tries to learn more.”
Season 4 consists of 10 episodes in total, but not all of the episode titles have been released yet. However, it has been revealed that the May 17 show is titled “Don’t Cry Out Loud,” and the May 24 show is “Yes Sir, That’s My Baby.” In addition, the May 31 episode title is “Working My Way Back to You.”
